Absolutely blowing my mind here. I ran into Chris while in this same range and he got me way too stoked to hunt and shot a amazing buck. Love the video, great quality, does justice.
The cinematography in your films is always second to none. This film is incredible and you all are setting yourselves apart in this industry. LOVE IT!!!
What an amazing video. Having just lost my father, It was great seeing the entire family be able to be part of this hunt. It was truly inspiring and further pushes me to experience more with my kids every day! Well done!
Thanks so much! Very sorry for you loss. It is a great thing to be passed down from generation to generation. Such incredible memories to be made out in these places.
Amazing film! I have a ton of appreciation for the work you've put in to make this piece. Quick question, I'm assuming you're using ND filters during daylight. Your image looks really soft and not very harsh, which the cloud cover helps with. Are you also using any diffusion filters to soften the skin and harsh light? It looks amazing! Keep up the good work
Thanks Neil! yes agreed, if there was one way I would have shot it differently it would be to get more footage of the ram both before and after the shot.
Great video man, I love hunting and seeing you hold off on those immature rams is a great lesson to all, respect the animal and keep grinding, you're commitment and hard work really paid off
Thanks dude! ya, really respected Devon for that decision and made it an even better story to tell. Really thankful for the experience of capturing that decision making process!
Great work and good story! I appreciate and am thankful for your efforts- brings back good memories of my first ram experience. I am curious- are you natives of BC, and if so, how often can you draw a bighorn tag? Do you have the opportunity to hunt other sheep as well? Again, great stuff! Best wishes!
Thanks David. We are BC residents and extremely lucky with the hunting opportunities we have. We have the opportunity to hunt bighorn and thinhorn over the counter every year. This tag was on a draw system, with odds less than 1% in most of those.
Great job, great diy effort. Thanks for posting. To often these videos seem to be about the hunter not the hunt especially guided ones where the hunter pretends the outfitter guides, planes and horses had nothing to do with their success.
Wow, I’m going to need to watch this again. Great filming and solid story. Wish it was longer but understand how much work and dedication goes into filming plus being in stalk mode. Awesome stuff, look forward to seeing more
@fargonemedia Man. This is a stunning video. Thanks for sharing this. Couple haters gave this a thumbs down. They clearly didn’t get or didn’t cut their sheep tags lol. Keep up the awesome work!
Thank you! Haha just a creative decision. We all set out in the same area targeting different animals and split up part way through. It was my attempt at telling a story of "success" and "failure" along side each other.
I watched this a couple weeks ago and couldn't stop thinking about this hunt. Had to watch this again. Thanks for being real about the hunt. Only one page of the book is harvesting the animal. Reminds me of hunting mule deer here in NW Wyoming.
@@fargonefilms "Loudest boos come from the cheap seats" - Babe Ruth. Excellent film guys well done. Pay no mind to the haters that probably haven't created or produced anything in their entire lives.
