Live by the sword, die by the sword.Complete respect for the racers,i understand why they would put themselves in danger like this.I imagine it’s less dramatic for the riders than the spectators.Lastly big thanks to these heroes for the spectacular theatre they give us at the risk of their own skin.
Watching and listening to this reminded me of my trips to the IOM TT many years ago. Of course at the IOM, they are racing balls out like this for 360km. Still - respect to all. Looks like a great event.
Gigantisch...
As a former track day only rider. I can confirm that these guys that race on street circuits are flat out crazy. In my opinion the single most dangerous type of motorsports there is. Most fearless racers on the planet.
I like motorcycle riding, in fact I love motorcycle riding, I happen to own six at the moment, I just sold 2 BMW bikes, still have three. I like to ride fast, twisty bits are loads of fun. But you have to be insane to ride as hard as these guys do. I'm 68, and you don't get to be this age riding like these guys do. I'm grateful that I survived my youth.
Second fragment shocked me somewhat, didn't expect that bike to crash at that spot, that was a high speed crash!!! 😱😱Rider still alive/no serious injuries?
That road paint seems really slick, I think it caused the first wreck. 1:00 caught a wobble too. I'm honestly baffled by the crash protection I've seen for bikes at stuff like this. Its too dense. 4:43 too
I believe one of the other commenters mentioned that this is very reminiscent of the Isle of Man TT, but I think these roads are in a lot better shape.
I used to race speedway motorcycles. I payed price many times. Thats way most people that came to the races, they liked the crashes, boody and beer. This is alot like Isle of man TT races They all have balls of steel.
All I could find was an austrian news article stating that one driver was taken to hospital by helicopter, so I guess that was him. But no info on his health.
@@bernardkavanagh3528 Can you ride around Ireland like the TT after visiting the pub?If yes then I want to emigrate to Ireland right now even if I might Conor Cummins my arse to shreds.
