Yeah that’s a really cool idea! Maybe just caveat it with “you receive a balanced version of that ability”

I've also seen Ben Burns just make the Amne pick a player without having decided what the ability was, and then he later settled on the ability based on how the game unfolded thereafter. It was like, "Now that these events have happened, wouldn't it be fun and impactful for the Amne's choice to do ____ to the chosen player". I can't remember what the ability ended up being though.
