When I was younger I always wanted Big Daddy Kane's MCM leather trench coat in the Lean On Me video. I ended up with MCM leather baseball hat that I still have to this day.
We're glad you enjoyed it, Anthony. We're got another interview with Kane, too. #SorenBaker talked with Big Daddy Kane about Hiding A Marley Marl Beat From MC Shan & Writing Biz Markie's "Pickin' Boogers." Here's the link, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ksPtEGyX_BU.html. Check it out & let us know what you think. Thanks for watching #UniqueAccess.

@@UniqueAccessEnt Already seen all of those today. I still need for finish up other videos in my watch later like the JJ Fad and Kool Rock Ski and Prince Markie Dee from the Fat Boys. Thank you all infinitely for all the great content and and interviews. Totally appreciated. You're official.
Everytime I see a video of Kane...I'm instantly brought back to my teen years. Good, fun youthful thoughts flood my mind. Long live the Kane. My all time favorite rappers.
LEGENDARY KANE... an emcee I use to rewind and playback like NAs and Rakim. Dope, Cool emcee. Hip Hop isn't the same. Hip Hop back then could heal you. Staying up late 1 - 2 in the am listening and taping Awesome 2 when I was 10 11 years old. I will never forget those days in New York.
We hear you, Kenneth Overton. Check out our other interview with Big Daddy Kane where he talks about Hiding A Marley Marl Beat From MC Shan & Writing Biz Markie's "Pickin' Boogers. Brinky Brinkz, we're glad to have #SorenBaker on the team. We've got a lot of great interviews coming up soon. Thanks for watching #UniqueAccess, as always.
To me he was the next KRS because he was the king of classiness because he was dressed like a sharp business man in his 20's in most of his videos! He rhymes for ladies, for the streets and self awareness too! A very balanced MC! He's made songs with B.I.G, 2pac, Shyheim, Jay Z, Big L as well...he was in demand back then! You never hear about him getting himself into any financial problems or having any serious beef with any artists because he became a grown man at a young age. It's been going on 22 years since he made his last album called "Veterans day". It's ok that he hasn't put out material since then. Because he made so much music and accolades in his career that he doesn't need to. In this period of time he can be a REAL mentor for the artists coming up! He has plenty of historical stories to share💆👍✊! One of the 🐐's!
We did the interview with Kane in Inglewood, California, WealthTrader Investments. But #SorenBaker is from Maryland & is a big Ravens fan. Thanks for watching & supporting #UniqueAccess.
Kane is one of the pioneers of being more lyrical in your rhymes. But what is this new look with the grey in the beard tho. Idk if I think thats fly. And Kane is King of Fly. Any I digress...
First I want to say, Kane is one my favorite MCs of all time. But I disagree about its getting better in the movie industry for Black people. Black Panther is Marvel's highest grossing Super Hero films, if I'm not mistaking. If not, its close. Since its success we havent seen another Black Super Hero film from Marvel or any other studios, and we probably won't for awhile. But they know it's a market out there but the movie industry is still racist.....🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
It takes time my brother....they got to let the success of the first film breathe....their will be obviously be another Black Panther sequel, but in the meantime it's important that you support the other films folks put out just as much as the main ones. Track records and high ticket prices= more money for black actors/directors to then reinvest in more cultural films.
We hear you, but the other commenters also said some of the things we're feeling, Nat Turner76. We've definitely got to keep watching & supporting black films & television shows so we see more of them. Thanks for watching #UniqueAccess.
