I'm kinda sad about the Lone survivor nerf, as well as Lambeosaurus nerf. I'm glad something positive about allosaurus came in as well- even if I still hate the hachet bite with a passion.
Thats absolutely False 5% is more then worth it and makes differences in Battles 10% was To much, specially in the Free Speed Hides Heck Speed is Arguably more valuable then Armor in this game 10% was to much and 5% still makes a Difference in combat
I think what POT truly *needs* to work on asap is the questing system. I'm so tired of having to collect stupid items as a dino in order to gain new skins and attacks. It is the most boring part of POT and why I just don't play it as often as other games. 😢
They once stated in a devblog that the quest system is up for a major overhall, of which is a good thing considering how tedious questing is currently.
Just play modded servers, they are better than officials in every single way. If modded servers didn't exist barely anyone would ever play Path of Titans
@@DeusJudexMeusEst I'd rather be able to kill without rules but also not get spawnkilled as like on deathmatch servers. I'm official all the way because eff rules
As a Allo Player I like that update I know I've probably said something along these lines on one of you're other video's but the Allo needs a little more love to keep up with mid tier's Like say if and when they do a remodel of the Allo the subspecies get these changes Fragilis: 10% attack 10% defense Euro: 10% armor 10% defense Jimma: 10% speed 10% stamina regeneration As for abilities Head: a secondary head slot and a upgrade to the regular Bite that would deal high damage Senses: add a new ability that ignores a dinos bleed resistance and increases damage by 15% Front limb: add a secondary slot and a new claw attack that is a charge attack that deals medium damage Metabolism: stays the same Hide: keep it how they're doing it Legs: stays the same Back limb: add a stomp ability with right or left leg with secondary slot Tail: secondary slot for both Weather it would happen idk just a wishful idea Anybody can copy and paste it to them on they're discord or give it to the devs directly themselves be fine with me
Armor and defense are the same I don't think allo is a big enough dino to just stomp Instead of being dependent on abilities buff its turn speed all together And the thing needs more stam imo(same Stam as iggy)
ABSOLUTELY. allo is one of my favorites and yet it almost feels neglected of love by the devs, it plays out like it's a jack of all trades but master of none, not only is its bleed sub-par, but the fact it has THE SAME amount of stamina and nearly the same speed as sucho, a far stronger dinosaur that can also swim is just insane (pretty much the only thing that makes allo somewhat viable is its relatively high combatweight which allows it to really hurt most mid sized dinos). It's also mind boggling how much allo has been starved of major reworks unlike most carnis, like how most got a bunch of fancy senses and attacks or just overall stat changes and yet allo stood almost unchanged since it was first added. I feel like they should flesh out it's role as a bleeder by buffing its bleed output and adding new attacks. Some tweaks to the model would also be very appreciated given its quite old and it does look a little quirky
damn bro you really like allosaurus, but they should improve on realism before anything else. Darker night, Nightvision System, Gore system, a better food system perhaps and also a nesting system
Allosaurus is terribly sad right now. Everyone keeps saying its supposed to be an all rounder but right now its only attacks outside of bite and tail do bleed, and running a bleed only allosaurus is just running a walking meat chunk. One day we will have our stride, and allo (with grapple?) will be glorious
I think Allo, Meg, and Hatze got the best buffs in my opinion here. The Hatze was just quality of life, because picking up a tiny flower and flying was like you picked up a whole Rex or something lol, and you could barely lift off. The Meg and Allo just get rewarded for playing themselves. Also Dasp getting its speed reduction on the bone break bite lowered is a step in the right direction.
Wish I could because these people don't know how balance and they always listen to the Karen cry babies and not to the people actually giving good feedback if I had a pc I would have stopped path like 6 months ago
@@lordofpidgeons Yeah. It's better in some aspects but the devs just posted a new update that ruined the gameplay and now I don't enjoy the game anymore :(
Yeah its really sad. I used to main alio and it was perfectly fine, and if anything it needed a small buff. The turning radius nerf makes no sense because you cant even catch the "small game" (meaning literally just raptors) since they have a much better turning radius and since struthi and campto can just outspeed you, literally all you can kill as an alio rn is conc and maybe a pachy but if its a skilled player its 50/50
@galaxy0878 it literally cannot as raptors have better turning, fall damage resistance, better jump, and tail fan which allows any player with a brain to escape. Besides, why does a dinosaur that supposed to be a "small game hunter" is literally only viable in a pack? If your supposed to only hunt things much smaller and weaker than you (which alio doesnt even do that well for reasons i mentioned before) you shouldnt need a pack? They literally made it horrible in solo and a lot weaker in a pack even tho it was fine. The devs are terrible and have no idea what theyre doing
As an old player of this game i want to say: please stop with the debuff n buffs on everything, i don't even know what to play now as a dino is awesome on a Monday and gets kos by devs on Tuesday...I don't mean to quit developing but please just leave the Dinos that are having good acceptance like they are, and fix the ones everyone wants fixed like Allos and trikes and things that move like an overfilled dump truck that got stuck on mud, i mean have you seen a Rhino run!? even elephant can chase a car for a whole mile before it depletes like the EO taking 5 steps at molasses speed and needing a week at a spa to recover while getting chewed in by everyone and their mothers...Alio was amazing, Bars was decent and Lamb was decent now they all are lame and the new tucan Sam is not going to help us forget that you nerfed everyone else. Meg gives you like 2 brownie points but thats it
@@citrusthepenguin You as well! I’m excited about the knockback tail, now people will need to be more careful. It’s nice how a simple change can make a big difference. This was a smart change for Amarg.
Huh? We had lambeos killing 3-2 dasp and prior nerff lamb stomps claw brage sucho alio literally eats allo and dasp alive in a 1v1 and bars is only just less unkillable eo still on par with rexonly cause rex got face tank cause its impossible to get around
The Amargasaurus tail attack buff is really nice for kiting and escaping apexes such as Rex, but it still struggles vs large packs and isn't as strong as it should be. A combat weight buff would be nice.
Hate the lightweight scales and balanced tail changes. I always picked both those options for a speedier and more agile build, but with only +5% it just makes me go “Well… what’s the point?” For some dinosaurs having different % stats would be fine if not preferable but a flat across the board percentile reduction really sucks to see not gonna lie. Seeing drenched blows get an upgrade is nice to see however. As well as allosaurus and megalania getting bleed and venom related buffs is neat, though I may be biased because I enjoy their play styles a lot. But good lord alio got murdered…
Nice to see Meg get a bit of love after being nerfed to shit, feel like dasp could use one or two more things like a different call and maybe a kick just my opinion tho
Honestly, the balanced tail change for mid to large carnivores like the allo and rex sound like a really bad choice, if previously it wasn't hard for the allo to deal with latens/deinons, now it defininetly hard now, because before this update, at least you could dodge the pounce, but now(while you still can) it's much harder, especially since the allo doesn't have slick scales, unlike the dasp or rex or pretty much every other mid to large sized dinosaur for that matter. I can kind of see them trying to push people to use tail slap again with this, but I don't think this is a good way of doing that. I will give them credit though, this is probably the biggest overhaul since the night stalker or the pounce update.
Even then I tried it as an allo, 2 different builds on defence subspecies: 1 w tail attack/hatchet bite and 1 w balanced/regular bite and in either scenario the speed reduction makes fighting achillos impossible no matter what unless your butt up against a rock or cliff because they can't pounce the allo directly head on but other than that the tail doesn't do enough damage quick enough to kill one plus claws drain Stam so having to decide between flight or flight is very ehhh on allo and makes it survivability go down
Im kinda over all these tiny raptors with pounce. It has fully lost it's appeal with how little pounce drains their stam when shaking. Give us bigger dinos sick of tiny annoying hordes
Did you forget about hatz? Also there is literally only like, 3 raptors in the game and 2 of which released way, wayy back, ALSO pounce got a nerf, it has an 8 second cooldown and drains more stam
@MrTickles445 not really a niche when it could beat every other 2 slot in the game with little effort and most of the 3 slots if you have higher than room temp iq
I don't think they should have removed the bleed from latens bite, the bleed was the only thing going for it IMO even when pouncing, raptor strikes was pants without bleed
@galaxy0878 I love how they say it's supposed to be a small game hunter, yet removed the turning radius to be able to actually hunt down those small game (meaning literally just raptors)
@galaxy0878 Sure, as me and 1 of my friends kill an ENTIRE group of 5 or 6 alios as 2 lambeos....This was before the update....Alio was definitely "too effective" *cough*
Bars main here, pLEASe dear god give us something, we were strong post pounce but now w pounce, the massive raptor hordes, the birds, and downright Evil food drain, the largest health pool in game was the ONLY thing we had. now bars is unplayable bc of the health nerf, and weve only 3 attacks and none of them hit birds and its alm impossible to tailswipe/ headbutt raptors who can by pass the trample damage by pouncing. i cant even boot up the game w out getting chain kosed by every carni (and some herbies) in the server TwT
I agree...I like to play edmontosaurus but I have no way to knock the dang hatz out of the sky so if they are determined and skilled I slowly get picked to death...and the raptors(don't get me wrong, I play the sh!t out of all the raptors, but they are now too powerful and targets don't have a way to effectively fight back. How are some of these changes balanced for the rest of the cast?
@@Insert_Introvert atleast eddy has more than one attack and better vocal choices. maybe give bars a voice ability that raises your groups health? or have different calls like one to boost defense by 30% and one that boosts attack by 30% like how the thicken is a "mob boss" make bars a like, paladin kinda thing idk i just want my battle cow back TwT
Ok video, but it would be a lot more interesting if it was something more than just reading the patch notes, such as giving your opinions on specific changes and trying them out in game yourself. I'm really looking forward to the changes of Amargasaurus and Anodontosaurus!
These videos serve more as a purpose to get the patch notes out to an audience who might not properly see them in the discord, i used to add opinions to them but it wasnt something people were happy with as it created a slight bit of bias towards certain changes, testing them out in game is a good idea, but time constraints always become an issue, as update changelog videos i tend to turn around quickly while the topic is still fresh to keep people informed ^^
I really hate a lot of things in this update, the Lightweight scales debuff and bars getting lower health really upsets me. Bars is one of my fav and having so much health was very fitting and good against those annoying raptors
Dude in the last update it had 100 hp removed and venom nerfed to uselessness, now that that it gets 2 buffs that it needed to stand up against other mid tiers it's the favorite?
Not sure why devs thought reducing turn radius on everything was a good idea, and why they thought lambeo and alio were so good they needed their entire kits nerfed
Gonna be real honest I hate the "Mob Boss" play style they gave Achillo, they could've done something unique and give it abilities around playing alone and fighting battles with smarts and not brute force
Yup I'm also with you on that I'm not a fan of how they are trying to role specific certain dinos like healers or support and now mob boss like wtf is that and it's annoying that they design the dinos the way they do (poorly ) claim it's for "realism" then make a large arse raptor a "mob boss" of small raptor like no bro if those things met in real life the achillos would murder the smaller raptors on sight like wolves do to coyotes 😏
As my main Dino is a juvie Meg, I would like to see them change venom to effect stamina in all its applications, for example, a venomed Dino should use stamina about 15% faster while venomed, & regain stamina about 15% slower while venomed, it would need the number tweeted to fit their goals, but I think that’s the best way to do it.
Some of these updates have killed the game for me, i primarily use the kento, the 2 big bonus's with the kento is its speed and stamina use/regen, and it needs those because its armour and health are so low, I got hit by a Meg last night, it gave me over 8 minutes of poison damage, meaning i had no stamina for over 7 minutes, i was literally a sitting duck once my stamina had run out and there for the taking, the Kento is now a worthless dinosaur to use.... Why they had to buff the venom so much is beyond me, maybe slow stamina regen, but not completely stop it, All this has done is made solo gaming pretty much impossible to survive, gone are the days i could run away from packs.
Look, let's degrade unplayable dinosaurs like styracosaurus and albertaceratops and iguanodon and allosaurus so people don't want to keep playing them. I'm not talking about struthiomimus and comtosaurus. I just realize that Path of titans developers instead of balancing the dinosaurs are doing something crazy. They added Achilo, but they also made him a mega predator that only dies from being stupid and going head-to-head. All I see in the game is rexes and achilo. At the same time razraby geniuses do not add to all dinosaurs shukura against attacks, why even skin, you took and raised these dinosaurs to let them go for meat? If the developers continue to mock players like this, I'll just refund my money for the game.
This is exactly the point I've been talking about! There's really no ability to have diversity in the game. It's all the same things on every server because if you play anything else, all those hours you've spent raising that EO, or whatever else have you, will be wasted at the sight of two of the smallest things in the game, that gets boosted with a mega version of it. So sad.
Im pretty new to the game and just got a meg to adult stage yesterday (first time playing it) is it worth playing as it? I know it just got some buffs but ive heard its gotten nerfed pretty bad before
Lambeo was perfect, you had to be really good at the game for it to be op. I feel not enough people play it to get nerfed so bad. Its all I played, the lower combat weight, lower heal and worse turn radius made a huge difference. If lamb gonna get nerfed so bad the least they couldve done was made its base speed faster :/
I hope they have something good coming for lamb in the future because it’s taken a health drop in the pounce update now it’s taken a combat weight drop, dang they are definitely turning up the heat for my solo lamb game play.
In future, might be more efficient to sort by changed ability and list the affected creatures. I think this would have simplified your editing process.
Does not seem fair to nerf the lamb since hardly anyone plays them now they may go nearly extinct also the bars is slow so I felt its health was balanced as a tank
Alioramus is dead ladies and gentlemen. CW 3000-2100 wowza 👀 ☠️. I’m so glad I stopped using balanced tail quite some time ago for so many of my Dino’s. Amarg kb for the tail is nice. Funny I had thought about it having that change just recently and voilà! 😌 and Allo finally got a sense, praise the sun 🙌
The Amarga tail knockback is pretty strong, saw some amargas fighting each other and they got pushed back a lot and they were both the attack sub, so with knockback sub it's gonna be even stronger push.
@@PrattBjj Helps prevent tail riding and gives options to knock things off a cliff or downhill for some fall damage. Also Amarga is plenty strong in most 1v1 situations and can fend off small dinos pretty well and used to struggle with apexes that got too close without the amarga noticing them but now with the knockback the chances of getting away from an apex have gotten up.
@@PrattBjj amarga has rly solid stamina and can run for a longer time than allmost all its predators, the only problem was that other dinos were faster and would catch up on amarga way before they are out of stamina. the knockback allows for amarga to outrun these dinos
Allosaurus still being done so dirty. Fresh blood was on Stego and a few others long before Allo, and hatchet bite is still an unusable head attack. One day, my beloved…
If you play your allo like a stego hatchet bite is doable but I agree. Hatchet bite works for stegos/Kent's but nothing else on top of needing to run defence subspecies on top of resilient scales/tail attack and long distance runner
Small dinos are overtuned as hell. I am just being honest, if a laten gets hit by a Deinocheirus tail at all for example, it should either die on impact or be close to it. I am happy with low effort bucking though. I want big dinos to feel like a threat again.
The fact that they've screwed over Alio when it was already hard to play as sucks. Why the hell are they reducing turning and speed shit.... This is why the modded creatures are better then anything actual pot can make cause they know how to balance their dinos.
So meg was mega buffed… alio insanely nerfed. allo gets a new sense, ano buff and everything else got a standard by skill nerf, amarg buff - Bars nerf oh no. Thanks for letting me kno
They change bad dinosaurs for the worse. It doesn't make sense to weaken the dinosaurs that didn't receive other abilities to compensate, the eotrice looks like a truck moving forward and nothing new.
I really hate it when they nerf a ability that almost all the dinos have like some dinos are unplayable with out that and I hated even more when they do a Dino nerf like bars, alio, lamb and iggy like some of these dinos didn't even needed it but that's what the path devs do they add a positive with 100 negatives awery update and patch
When did POT remove most mods and the dilophosaurus I just recently got back on the game and went to go play my dilo and it was gone along with most mods
Perhaps one of the worst patches for any game I’ve ever played. Almost completely nerfs across the board, and really solid ones for dinos that didn’t deserve it like Alio and Lambeo. I desperately hope that these changes are reverted, otherwise this game doesn’t really feel worth playing.
@@theoofer478 My Guy I play this game 24/7 and know what a Freaking Good Lambeo was Capable off yeah no lmao Lambeo deserved a Nerf, its Combat Capabilities were to much compared to even Metri
The nerf to bars and iggy was unnecessary, but other then that I like the halved stamina for ano tail slam and that meg got buff but idk this updates kinda useless 😒
weaken the ls lh which gave an advantage (controversially) to solo players and buff a passive that can be used by players in groups who already have an advantage due to their numbers. great job
Just remember it's every bodies fault that it keep chaining everything and mixing it up because everyone won't stop moaning . just be happy and have fun playing.
Small dinosaurs get smashed into the ground, large dinosaurs get ganked and can't defend against it. Medium dinosaurs go around harassing everyone and can outpace everything as well as having some of the hardest hits. Herbivors all play aggressively because they take advantage of their increased armour and can easily take down a T-Rex. The game is incredibly unbalanced.
It's their trickle system to mixpacking/megapacking. They're doing it w the raptors, working on the hadrosaurs and already did it w some of the carnivores. They're trying to make it so that those that play certain things like lamb bars etc. Have better chances at survival being w another one of the same kind and not just a random herbi so that way solo players and non solo players get a better interaction between one another simply because by being grouped you get certain buffs etc. regardless
