I love Howard but let's not compare him to Kemba Walker. Kemba is significantly quicker and more explosive off the dribble. Howard is as good a pure shooter as you will see but he doesn't have NBA quickness or great play-making ability. That doesn't mean he won't find a niche in the NBA but it's not going to be easy at his height. He has to improve his ball-handling for sure. Now if he had a gear like a Tony Parker for example?? He would maybe be the best sub six-footer ever.
I'm not sure about that. He's only 19. Also he's not considered to be a 1st round pick because he is severely undersized for a non-playmaker. But boy, when he has it going it's a beautiful thing to watch. He's a poor man's Curry. I'll tell you something else: Marquette has a great transfer coming in next year and a stud 6'3 PG who could reclassify for 2019-20. If Howard stays the could be a major threat and likely a top 10 team all year.
@@bobcrosby3229 Yes...Torrence. But they also have a combo G coming in from Utah State: Koby McEwen, 6'4.. Koby will be a big-time impact transfer and can play the 1 or the 2. Plus Greg Elliott will be healthy. If Howard comes back this will be the most talented Marquette team since 03'.
