That's 1 hp per 3.3 pounds. Now, which is going to be quicker? By your logic, you're saying a 427-powered Shelby Cobra is going to be slower than a VW Type 1 (beetle) You should have known.

its not so much the hp its the torque, R1 is what like 76ftlbs a 502 bigblock puts out huge amounts of torque like 500-600ft lbs but thats a double edged sword the big bikes just can't find traction and hook they spin through all the gears if you give it too much throttle. I saw one in person (502) it would spin the rear tire at 120mph easily.
