I am doing a 2 year sabbatical in 6 month at the age of 47 and if my finances will be ok I’ll continue to retirement, if its not then Ill come back to work.
@@veejayroth because of the market that can get unpredictable but yes I am living below my means but you never know if you really like retirement so after 2years if I like being retire then Ill just continue if not then I’ll come back to work. I am set gor life with 4% but I don’t know if its really dependable at least I could try and if doesnt easy to come back to work part time.
He looks at it from the angle “If I have x$, how much can I withdraw?”, but I feel like most people would want to know it from the opposite angle: “If I want x$ a month, how much do I need to save until I can retire?”
