Hey Matt! Ever have a problem with the hoot set on those weighted Trokars? I think maybe I need to size up my hooks and use softer swimbaits with them. The powerbait red-eyed paddle tails I've been using get plenty of strikes but they're so stiff! They don't consistently bump down the hook when I set. Love those Trokar weighted hooks though. They really let me bomb soft plastics way out there.
Some days are not so good and I find myself feeling pretty down. Two rounds of cancer will do that. But I find myself watching SB Fishing and it truly turns things around, puts a smile on my face, and makes the day seem okay. Pretty good medicine if I do say so myself. Thank you Matt and Ace I really appreciate the boost. Makes me want to keep on pushing thru this madness.
👍😎 Good move using the A-rig to get ya'lls lure back, who'da figured? Bluegill and crappie are fish also, they just get no love 'cause they'll eat anything you can stick on a hook... worm, bologna, hot dog, macaroni noodle... Heck, they'd bite a rock if you make it stick to the hook... hmmm, 🤔 gel superglue maybe? Ah well, good video.. 👍😎😊
Good to see you back. Been missing some notifications for some reason. Awesome you got that bait back. I don't know how in the hell you would consider throwing $100 bait tied on anything but braid. But that's just me.
@@dreichert1438 It's a grind so if u dnt like getting skunked months on end dont try it or if u dnt have enough money definitely dnt pick it up cuz its expensive and take dedicated gear
You got a phony😍 I love em but there’s a hook called a Quatro on tackle warehouse and I put them on almost all my glidebaits, they mad sticky and hook up ratio is ridiculous!!
Byron Brush god I’m 13, have to buy presents, and still have to restock baits. Let me know if anybody who sees this comment wants to donate $1300 for a bonefied. I’ll wait😂
Jon boat > kayak. How wide is your Jon boat? The width is more important than length when it comes to stability. If the base of your Jon boat is atleast 36” it’ll be fine. I’ve seen some guys deck a 32” base and still be okay but it’s a little tipsy.
Dude just found your videos while looking for reviews on the curado dc (i got it btw). Anyway i’ve binged watch your videos for the last 2 days 😂. Thanks for the great content.
I should’ve called u guys when i got into them pretty good not to far from where i saw u. Ended the day with 18 fish stacked in 15’ of water. Great video as always!
Have you ever tried the mike bucca baby bull shad? Just picked up one yesterday and saw it was in a Mystery Tackle Box. Last two times I’ve been out in eastern pa, I haven’t gotten a bite. Might go for musky this time out. Any plans for another musky video soon, your musky videos are my favorite. Good luck with dentist.
Really enjoy your videos dude. You ever fish the south fork of the Shenandoah river in Virginia? Supposed to be prime musky water from what I've been told
Once I had a 3 pound bass attached to my kayak with my lip grippers, then as I'm rowing in to show my buddy it thrashed and broke the cord, I tried to keep scoop him with my oar, but watched him swim slowly down 15 feet and disappear. I was so sad knowing it wouldn't survive and I had lost my lip grippers. So I get in my buddy's boat, and we look in the same area and see nothing. We fish the rest of the lake for at least 2 hours and decide to check again. After a few minutes we hear a good deal of splashing in these weeds nearest to the shore where I lost it, and we go over but find nothing. As he's backing us out and I'm raising the trolling motor I spot the bass in the weeds with my lip grippers tucked under it making them hard to see. I end up grabbing the net and scooping it up, getting my grippers back and saving the bass! My buddy couldn't believe it and neither could I.
Bro I'm going threw the same thing! I just had 5 teeth pulled and got 5 more to go then I'm getting partial dentures.. such a process.. cant wait till it's done! So tired of the pain in my mouth all the time! If it isn't one tooth hurting it's another! " KIDS TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH!!!!"
Lake Barcroft in Annandale Va. Great private lake. Monster bass and catfish. Caught a muskie one time too. Haha fishing right in front of my parents house.
Flourocarbon is bad for that with heavy baits. All that shock shatters the line. Braid with mono leader is always the best for almost every big swimbait application.
I dropped my G loomis e6x rod with like a $70 spinning reel in the lake and it took me 4 days to get it back. I caught a bass on it right after I got it out of the water lol.
@@sherrywilliams808 My friend was with me too and like 3 minutes have gone by and he says " Do you ever watch fishing shows?" I almost choked him. I went four days in a row till I finally got it back. The cork has darkened up a bit but its good as new.
