Big Fish in an 18th Century Canal 🇫🇷 Fishing France 

Traveling back to Alsace, this was the first time fishing in the 18th Century Rhone-Rhine Canal. The Rhone-Rhine Canal project was first conceived during the reign of Napoleon - made during a time when the French wanted to connect large river systems for strategic purposes. The project has been updated and added to in the years since. Nowadays in Alsace, large portions of the canal are not used for navigation (ships and cargo), but still holds many species of fish - big barbel being one of them. Using a new Decathlon WXM-500 light setup (2.10m 2-10g) made this day even more fun.
