In this video I'm out early morning all by myself on the Gotland coastline. It has been a very cold and windy night but I still want to try if there is any fish in shallow water after the night. After many good days of guiding it is finally time for me to do some fishing.

That's a beautiful whopping sea trout, and caught in such relatively shallow water too. There's some really nice spots here in Ireland for them.

@@FlyFishingbyRobert ja där är de aldrig någon garanti :D Vi har lite på kusten här runt Älvkarleby men har blivit ytterst lite för ens egen del, o då e bart spinn. Få ut flugor i blåsten gick inge vidare med bristande teknik så kul att få kolla på när proffs gör de så enkelt istället ;)

Fabulous Robert. Well done. One to remember for a long time! BTW, Do any of you guys ever use black coloured flies in salt water? Here on the Clyde estuary in Scotland I met an old angler who always fishes an old traditional loch fly, the Kate McLaren on the dropper and takes a lot of fish on it. Black flies of course, do well in rivers and lochs but I always thought it unusual to use them in the sea. I intend to try a black pattern more often this season in the salt water and see how it does..

Det ger bra grepp och lite grövre handtag. Vanlig i flugkastningssporten. Det här är mitt favoritspö för kusten som jag slitit på i 2 år. Med tiden krymper korken.
