Other glitches, tricks, and speedruns of this game that I've made videos for: • (GC) TSSM: Frozen Lava... I, personally, wouldn't count most of the stuff in this video as glitches, but lots of other people apparently do.
I never figured I'd find someone who actually uploaded videos on glitches for licensed children's games and this makes me happy. This was one of my favorite games as a kid and I just got back to playing it
I found a glitch! Go to level where you fight Dennis again and go towards David's head and jump towards his face. You will fall straight down to a black floor.
Although I have no idea how I did it, I once got myself stuck under the water of the desert level (the section with the flying trampolines). Sad to see no one else has seen it.
Here's a glitch I found but you have to have unlocked the first 2 levels and the sonic wave guitar. Go to I'm Ready Depression, then pause the game and go to No Cheese and as soon as you click the A button for the final time hold the guitar move button as the loading screen pops up. Keep holding down the button and when you enter the level you should see a deformed Spongebob and Patrick model
I used to find and do glitches in this game but in the PS2 version, idk why or how I found them. But some of these glitches remind me of the ones that I used to do.
In the deserty place... the place with the spongeball challench there's a lighter corner of the water where you can jump in and there is a cave that you can walk through untill you fall off the world.
@Coel Udd D: Shit. I definitely didn't do it justice, like you did, on my compilation. Aw, hell. I'll probably make another one. Hopefully it'll be better than my first one, which I'm going to upload, pretty soon. I'm thinking of doing some more major glitches, rather than sorta minor glitches. Also by the way, yes, I prefer to call those ones, like you were unsure about, "Oversights". Basically meaning by it being self-explanatory, meaning that they are areas that the developers forgot to check.
Also in "Now that were men" at the part where you have to spongebowl the sea monster that you have to go one to the battle area, instead I spongebowled him and got on top of the monster as it was moving and I jumped to the platform and spongebob grab it. So I skipped two battle areas and moved on. You should try it!
I did almost all the same glitches as you did and a few myself, like in the level "Now that were men" the part where you have to use the spongebowl to hit the buttons to lower a platform and that green ball hits the monster and releases patrick, I didn't use the spongebowl at that part, instead I jumped to the other side. It took me a few tries.
theres this glitch where in the trash level I brought 2 safes to kill those annoying robots and then I went to the near by mellon and then a safe appered and I piked the melon and it dissapered. in the same level I picked up a safe then it became invisable
I have my own glitch I found if you go to the last level and wait tell the 3rd stage you can get out of the map! And also in the garbage looking one if you grow one of those safes at the flying guy you can make him glitch! And there's you're dinner!
Hey would have any idea why on the PS2 version when u go oob it makes temprary illusions, but in gamecube not players choice version when u do them they make permant illusion on the screen
The GameCube is much less powerful hardware. The illusions are created by parts of the map unloading and the empty skybox showing. The GameCube being less powerful unloads more quickly as to not strain the hardware. So the illusions happen in shorter times and usually don’t leave.

glitch i found when i was young. 8:30 next to the rock (right from 2 dudes laughing) jump in the corner of the water. may take a few tries but eventually, youll fall through the water! from here you can explore! because you dont take damage underwater! you can go very far! AND if you go under the platform near where you passed through, youll fall through the world! have fun with this glitch.
I remember that one time, when I was next to the ice and melon area in plankton's city, and was jumping against the wall as spongebob like an idiot. Just playing around, and even though I was around FIVE YEARS OLD at that point in time, I managed to clip out of bounds. Just jumping against the wall. Then I was freaking out, and went REALLY far out of bounds. It was awesome! Too bad I couldn't record it because I had no knowledge of it happening. ._.
I remember this one minor glitch, in which when the screen comes up and I use the Sonic guitar move, Spongebob and Patrick were weirdly conjoined together :P
I'm pretty amused you discovered all of them glitches and yet i found one as kid that you didnt show here. At 8:31 when you go to the left and jump over the water and just go inside the water, you will get through. There will also be a part inside an "underwater-underwater cave" where you fall tjrough oblibion. Thats hilarious ^^
Found the hitbox on my own and literally screamed for bout ten minutes when I did. Was so happy. Glad somebody else found it. Also, the alternative oob glitch in 3000 miles is very fun Thank you for this gem!!!
For anyone curious as to how to get out of the wall hopping glitch in Welcome to Planktonopolis, keep going left until you found a giant door with Plankton on it. Then go towards the stairs and you should be able to jump out. It actually bypasses a large chunk of the level
When I was 5, I found a glitch in shell city dead ahead, play the level as normal until you get to the very last segment, whenever you throw the watermelon at the television and fall into the goo at the same time, the cutscene goes but you die 3 seconds into it. You will break the tv, but you will not be able to pass the level meaning you can't beat the game. I think the reason for this is because the game thinks because you triggered the cutscene, you have beaten the level but you are still in the level.
the finisher The editing is bad, he doesn't cut out the parts where he fails at attempting the glitches, so you have to watch him fail over and over again until he gets it
At 10:00 isn’t a glitch you can actually do that mission as spongebob you don’t need patrick for that one since spongebob had a jump attack and can use it as a jump boost
DimentiosLoyalest I've done this glitch before too! It's pretty easy. Idk why SpongeBob games have so many glitches but in my opinion they make the game more interesting, unless of course they take away from play-ability
8:32 the big rock / boulder on the right the water is a different color try to jump across that tiny space and let your self fall in the water you will immediately notice that you can breath under water / goo go under where you killed those guys fall down the big whole. AND SPONGEBOB GETS HIGH (tip wheal high press x and become even more high)
I have no idea how but as a kid in the Dumpster level I actually glitched myself inside of one of the t.v.’s before it was destroyed and I think I had to restart the level lol
On that second to last glitch, if you keep going outside the city, you'll walk off the edge and fall into an empty background that copies every action you make because there's no sky screen programmed. It's pretty weird.
i remember doing some of these glitches many years ago but i couldnt dothem again. thanks and do you know how to get inside that weird crab monster that shows up in here "here monster.... nice monster...." i remember doing it as a todler but i cant do it again.
there is also a glitch on the rock a tub level if you jump on the side of a piller and not (fall) move around a bit then you get stuck inside fun at first but to get you you need to restart the level :P
