Funny how they pulled them and then coincidentally one of the jackpots was 'won'. I mean they wouldn't want to be accused of not releasing a jackpot card after three months of the card being out, would they!! Mmmmmm
I can hear them saying “ we’re having to turn charities away because we don’t have enough money due to the recall of £10 scratch cards “ Just like the bookies having to lay off staff from betting shops due to the change in the FOBT’s
Problem is tho there getting rid of the £10 ones and Ile give it a year maximum before a £15 or £20 one comes out because they were thinking of bringing out a £20 one but then for once thought about the public 😂😂😂💯
I'm only down the road in Whitstable and haven't been able to get any for a few weeks. I think they should have at least let the game run its course rather than just stopping. people will still find £5 cards or stupid decision stopping them.
Seems a bit off a weird excuse when they also said falling sales, which contradicts problem gambling. And as Paul said, people will buy double the amount of £5 cards 🤔
Lotto makes far more profit on the £5 cards than they do on the £10 cards. Gambling commission had extra rules when it comes to the £10 cards which mean they are Not Profitable Enough for the lotto that is why they have quit doing them knowing people just buy more of the £5 cards which they do make a healthy profit from. The gambling industry don't give a damn about problem. customers. Most of my scratchcards videos are £10 cards because they were the best card to get something back or make a good profit. Lotto don't like that.
Camelot are discontinuing the £10 cards because bookmakers have said they don't belive the rules around gambling to be equal. As an example, on FOBT you can now only spin at a maximum of £2 a spin, however with £10 scratchcards you're able to buy £10 ones which is essentially £10 a spin.
Nice video paul..i believe theyve took them away because they prob werent selling..i agree with what you say,it wont make a difference as people will still buy cards 👍❤
£10 cards were good when they first came out I won a grand twice and 500 a few times to but the last couple of years they been crap my best wins have came from £5 CARDS 5K TWICE
Yes very silly reason to stop this card the world gone mad. Only way to solve is to ban all gambling. But to just limit things is silly. As far as I'm concerned it's up to you if you want to play or not if you can't afford don't buy
Paul, why have they removed the £10:scratch card? So £5 is the highest denomination now? It’s crazy 😜 in the USA and Canada they have $20 $30 and a whopping $50! So is it the Nanny state again telling us what to do and can’t?
