That's very exciting news for you and this community Katrina.....congratulations...well deserved!! Love this top on you, very creative hack with the twist.... the colors of this fabric are beautiful.
It's no surprise that you have reached 20k subscribers, I love your channel! This top is so pretty, the style and the fabric are perfect together. I love your method of saving fabric and utilizing a one sided knit print, genius!
Beautiful top. Thanks for the idea of making it doable from more fabrics. Congratulation on 20K. And thank you for the great content; I've learned so much.
Those are great tips and tricks to use for the next Lotus Blossom blouse. The v neck was difficult for me, the neck band makes it so much cleaner and easier. Love your channel!
I have a top bought in South America where the twisted knot forms in the V and I always wondered how it was made. Thank you Karina for another excellent video. Congratulations for reaching 20000 subscribers.
Morning Karina, when I received LN email for the Lotus Blossom Blouse of course I had to buy it. I knew I didn’t have appropriate fabric needed in my stash and decided I was going to make a seam at the bottom. You came to my rescue and did all the work for me💕💕💕. So thank you for a fabulous tutorial. Congratulations on your subscribers. Have a great weekend. Val❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧
Your creativity is amazing. Figuring out that twist was not an easy process, I'm sure. Congrats on your subscribers. I always learn something from your videos.
Congrats on 20K Karina, super exciting! Love how you made your LN Lotus, thank you. I would not have thought of using athletic knit, but love that idea!
Congratulations on your well-deserved subscriber milestone! When I heard that this pattern only worked on a fabric that was reversible, I knew there would be a way to adapt it - thanks for working it out and sharing it with us.

Congrats Karina well over due imo. 💜 Question regarding the top...I looked at the other ones on LN before I saw your video and I am a bit on the fence if I like the twist. I love yours tho it always seems to work out that way. 🤭 I don't know if it is the fabric the other ladies used? Do you get other options in the pattern or is it just the one pattern? I like the shape but not sure of the baggy twist. Your purple one was more fitted and I liked that. TY
The purple knit stretches less than this one and I felt the difference though the size was accurate when I made both. This print one is a lot stetchier/drapy. It’s just one option in this pattern. There’s an optional little yoke piece at the back that can be made with a contrast fabric.
I'm struggling a bit topstitching with my twin needle on a 4 way stretch knit. I must use a wash-away embroidery stabilizer when starting to keep the fabric from being pushed down into my machine - first problem solved. But now my finished shoulder seam is a bit wavy. And it's hard to topstitch following the curve of the neckline. Any tips?
This is why I prefer a band on a neckline. I know some people use fusible products along to neckline and then fold under to assist the top stitching. Tessa, on the Love Notions channel mentioned some products she used to stabilize the neckline. I don’t have access to them but you might be able to find them.
The seam will be tucked to the inside. There’s some tension in the seam when worn and that helps it flip to the inside. As for the seam being on the other side, I tried it a million ways and it always resulted it being on the outside. That’s why I top stitched it to make it flat.
