So, I accidentally saw a sheep 🐑 getting its hooves trimmed. It was put in a small crush and spun upside down! Like it was a number ball in a BINGO cage!🤣 it was too funny bc I immediately thought of these cows 🐄 in a similar contraption! Milk shake! 🤣🤣

I’m so very sorry for the family. I truly do understand loss and especially this time of the year. Loss always devastates but if right before a holiday ……..💔 I lost my Dad right before Christmas years ago now with burial on 12/23 and later my Mom the day before Thanksgiving and on my husbands birthday. Sending my prays and a giant heartfelt hug from West Texas, USA. 💔🙏🏻

Sending hugs and prayers to Herbie's family and friends. This is a tough time of year to remember what you lost. I normally don't have issues this time of year. For some reason this year is different. I haven't lost anyone I have great family and friends. I have gained a few new health issues on top of the too many I already have. So anyone with health issues, please just hold on. I have had issues since I was born. Severe chronic issues for over 26 years. If I can make it... anyone can make it. It is ok to be sad. I'm hoping to shake this off soon. Deep breaths and try to find something that eases your mind. Hugs to all

Such an important message. My family has a lot of health problems, too, that make everyday life difficult, never mind the holidays. I often feel a little down since my parents never come to visit me, I have to go visit them. They care a great deal about me, of course, but even visiting someone a few blocks away is stressful.

Love, love Herbie! My father raised Reg polled herefords, bred for having good dispositions, and Herbie seems particularly gentle. Not sure of the current market, but a good, young breeding bull like Herbie that drops good calve is worth a lot of money. I would imagine is worth upward to $4-$5,000

Since accidentally coming across the whole hoof trimming world on RU-vid and watching the various trimmers in action I have wondered about the different crushes that people use. I seems that the KVK is one of, if not the best on the market technically but I always thought it looked lightweight compared to some of the others. Living in a rural area and having an affinity with Hereford and Hereford Bulls I know they are big beasts, some of the biggest in fact that a normal farm would ever have. A really good show animal can be over 2500lbs, some nearly 3000lbs although Herbie isn't quite as big as this. I would guess he is slightly under 2000lbs, still one heck of a size but the KVK managed it with ease which is a real testament to it.
