Briggsy: Where are you cavy? Cavy: Somewhere between Indonesia and Australia swimming home! Just spotted your kingfish swim past he told me you were looking for me... He also said no hard feelings maybe next time bro
Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, ru-vid.comUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
Thanks for the video Briggsy. All your subs wait patiently between uploads. You were unlucky with the kingy. Cool shout out to Cavy. I think in these crazy times we're all missing our mates. Hang in there, everyone.
Briggsy, love your content mate! Watchin from way up north in the states! Your enthusiasm is contagious! Looking forward to the next one! As always, stay fishy! Happy Holidays
Agree. Briggsy talks with authority because he really knows his stuff. Enjoyed the earlier flathead videos for that same reason. Hoping the search for the meter monster isn't over. Have a great Xmas and keep safe from the UK.
i can feel you Bro , when i was traveling to Komodo i lost my handmade Popper (20h of Work) gone by the first cast. Because my Reel just close by casting 😱. The Color you choose looks fantastic, i will try it for one of my next Lure and test it in the caribean after christmas. Your Content is just Amazing, i love all your stuff also the Morningtide Crew Big Up from Germany !!!!
absolutely amazing to see bluefish [tailor] making their way over the entire globe. we catch bluefish as far north as maine in the US. they're a nomadic, enigmatic fish. my brother caught one this year that was 15 lbs on my boga. puked up 3-4 mackerel tails. if they were 50 lbs it wouldn't be safe to swim with them i reckon. they're just plain mean. those lures must be incredibly durable to stand up to them. i use cheap plastic plugs on blues and single hooks to make life easier and cheaper. high speed tins, topwaters, soft plastics, they'll eat almost anything when they're biting.
I would have called it the end of that session aye. Fukn stoked on the upload, sad on the popper☹️ Can’t wait for the cavy reunion, it’s gotta be a big episode. Maybe the most anticipated reunion in of all time.
Up here in the states(north east) we catch gator blues(Taylor) up to 18lbs around 30 inches +....! They're fun until it starts to get expensive on gear. Big fan Briggs keep charging.🤘
Nice looking lures I wanted to buy one but no where to use it since I just do fresh water. I felt the pain when it snapped not just for the lure but not landing the fish too.
@@malosilures thanks guys, I love making big stick baits and poppers as well, your builds are really inspirational, and I will definitely be looking out for your next release. cheers🤙
Great vid. You can always guarantee that something too big to handle is going to hit either when you’ve got the wrong gear or when you’re on your own. Happens to me too often ha.
Briggsy, mate, your vids are ALWAYS exciting even when you lose fish. Just wanted to tell, and this is coming from a couple of relative novices, we got, actually my mate got a 61 cm Tailor early this morn at a great beach South of Forster!!
Cheers Bro - thanks for the Info.. Malosi lures look so good - but as you said extremely hard to get.. Look on their site everyday to try n get them n they are always sold out 🤔 Love ya content..
I like your taste. Natural pattern lures work in the sun, the dark, the clouds, and even in the dreams! Overcomplicating coloration is pointless when its all in the profile anyway!
Only Briggsy can Hook a monster targeting Taylor. Tough conditions to land a good sized kingi off the rocks on your own Nearly made it right over the top into that rock pool😁 ❤🎣🎣🍻
