Hello I have a basic question to ask about load balancer. Please help I have two services running on single server. Similarly these two services are running on another server. Port 9200 and Port 8200 Can I load balance them both With different dns. ABC.com for first and Def.com for second. Abc.com should redirect to 9200 port and Def.com should redirect to 8200.

Yes you can. You can create two separate pool for service 9200 and 8200 each keeping same web-server in the pool. And then you can choose any of the following way to fulfill your requirement - 1. Create two separate Virtual Server for each ABC.com and Def.com and attach 9200 service pool to one VS and 8200 service pool to other VS. Now you will map required dns entries for domain ABC.com against VS1 IP and Def.com against VS2 IP. 2. You can also achieve it using single Virtual server for both services. Lets say your have virtual server 10.10.10.10 Now you will bind DNS mapping of domains ABC.com and Def.com against IP 10.10.10.10. And using iRule you can point request to required pool based on the host request e.g. abc or Def. Hope it helps! NetworkTalks

@@NetworkTalks Thanks a lot. I actually asked this to my admin team and they replied that they can make dns for one only and other one would have to be opened using dns:port
