I’m a hip hop head but there’s so much it’s hard to keep up with everyone, I’ve definitely been sleeping on Krit. He’s got that old Outkast swag with that deep south struggle. I’m fkn with it
My husband’s favorite artist! He passed away 9 years ago and I listen to Big Krit every day to honor his memory…I miss him so much. He exposed me to great and healing music…thank you Mr. Krit for your art. Blessings to you and your family 🙏🏾🙌🏾💜
K.R.I.T will go down as one of the greatest hip hop artists ever Pac..BIG.. Andre 3k/ Big Boi and kendrick are probably the only ones with a album that can touch this one .. 4eva is a mighty long time but it was damn sure worth it.. keep on K.R.I.T. .. MULTI TIL THE SUN DIE
"Made in the image of greatness, I got that there from my maker" 🙏🏾 KRIT reminds me that life is full of divine purpose and I don't know where I'd be without some of his songs 🙌🏽💪🏾🎈
Being from Mississippi and being a fan since 06...2 see where this mane came from and the growth...is motivational...to constantly make music with substance and quality for ppl who love good music....yaw just dont understand...im in dallas now and never missed a concert...always buy his albums...to see ppl appreciate it is beautiful...yaw keep getting these views up but support the homie...
Man i swear when im having a ruff day or my depression hits me hard... his music always calms me down and makes me feel better... has really kept me from harming myself...
That Outro (at 3:32) is insane... The Filtered sample in the background, with another sample from the same song on top.. Genius, the Violins in the back, just sounds so smooth. This shit is just fucking GENIUS!!! K.R.I.T has yet to let me down!!! Keep killen em KRIT!!!! Fan for life my dude!!!!
I can't tell you how many times I've cried to this outro. I was going through so much that year, so now when I just play the song, my fiance asks me if I'm alright.
It's kinda funny, this song is so smooth and easy but also deep at the same time. I'd pick this record to be an epitome for KRIT's trajectory lately. If you think about it in a way, people kind of start out 'old' cause they often care about some shit that doesn't matter and are (hopefully) in the process of going through shit so they can kill their egos to be truly free. As you continue to grow, you start shedding off the bullshit that doesn't matter any more and seeing more clearly, liberated, empowered, almost like becoming 'young'. Granted not everybody is like that; if they buy into the BS and narrow their mind instead of truly analyze and question it / grow personally as we move through life, then it's no progress. You take a look at KRIT and his interviews, this man has been cleansing out toxic things/people in his life, started eating better, working out, keeping his third eye and mind open...At 31 he looking better than ever before and his vibes are on point, just keeps peaking. Wish us all to stay on that wave until the day we gotta go.
Listening to KRIT for years has been an opportunity to hear an artist grow and breakthrough social barriers of music. Much respect, thanks for your hustle and can't wait to see you in Charlotte on next tour. Keep your mind and spirit straight before everything!!
Rebal A.R its not about apprciating both my guy, its the fact that if i played krit in a car of uzi fans they'd all say its too conscious or boring or wordy, and trust me i appreciate thr party tunes, but it truly shows were society heading when they rather hear a dress wearing skittle hair nigga talk about drugs and dead friends over krit trying to spread enlightenment and spirituality
Word to Rebel A.R .... Their's room in the world for both. Further more, can't live you life worried about what other people on. Be your own man. Ironically, that's kinda the point of this song.
be your own man..why u worried about what other think about music YOU like... Let both exist..but support who you like.. go to concerts..pay for music...retweet..ect...let lil UZI live..
Thank God, this man came into the Rap game when he did, this is real southern hip hop. You can feel that shit, This what we ride to when we crusin in the hood......#4EvaBIGKrit
I appreciate real useful lyrics! I get tired of killing, drugs, jewelry, and sexually exploiting lyrics! Keep your purpose and lead from the "front" Krit!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@MAX POWER IT'S CALLED A SAMPLE HE ONLY USED THE CHORUS. SMH YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT BOUT MUSIC. HE TELL YOU HE LEARNED HE GAME FROM UGK AND BUN B ON THIS ALBUM PLEASE STOP THE HATE AND ENJOY THE MUSIC...GOTTA GET AWAY FROM THE BULL SHIT THAT YOU ON LOL
A simple....Comes with PERMISSION, COMMI$$ION & Omission! Where did the ORIGINAL producer (Pimp c or his family) give permission? Where is that written on the notes of K.R.I.T's album? The sample K.R.I.T. used is NOT even PIMP C sample it's someone else (Cory mo, re-did the beat) to avoid paying him
Thank you Krit, for everything. Not ashamed to say this is one of the first tracks that put me on to you, but it was during my first cold winter in Canada while being by myself (because of the winter break) and 4eva is a mighty long time got me through it all daily. Lord knows the first time I heard that intro and was literally wildin in my Air BnB. Was my first album I bought a physical copy of any album because I truly loved the mastery you did and it was in steady rotation in my second semester of university. Even bought the camo jacket (cause that shit was dope)When listening, I could feel your emotion pour out in every song. Shit got me through hard times when I felt like I was missing home and all the stress. Your music has elevated my morale in ways I never thought possible. Now I have your entire catalog in steady rotation and your new album is no exception. KRIT iz here is something of a revival and although you didn't produce the tracks as much as you did in the prior project, I thoroughly enjoyed it and the features are golden. I'm glad people are starting to take notice because you definitely deserve the recognition for putting raw southern rap to the forefront of the conversation. Stay blessed king.
Ben G hello family Ima new artist from Cleveland OH and I would like to get you opinion on one of my records..... would you mind blessing me with your feedback?
all of 4eva is a mighty long time has aged so beautifully. This goes hard, motivates you, and puts a smile on your face. Seriously might be his best song.
I love how he's been influenced by UGK. Big Krit really is one of few of today's rappers that really holds it down for the "Saouth." I also heard Pimp C's flow from "Front Back & Side to Side" in this one. Got to the corner hit the switch and made it jump/ I got the JVC's and the kicker so it bump/ Krit uses that flow and i love it: All that bullshit that they serve/ I come from where you whip it in the kitchen 'til it twerk../ It's really goin' down in the South!
I come from where you whip in the kitchen, till its twerkin' out the pot. Put my faith God, even when its dark I won't stop. Flip them high beems on, Hit the gas to the top. I got love for my people, they got love me. I know power, what I'm worth and they bullshit free! Barzzz 🔥🔥🔥
