Thank you! I don't know why people who upload full albums don't post the time stamps for songs... It makes no sense you put the effort to upload it so put the damn effort into placing the timestamps in the description for the songs how lazy can one be? Anyways sorry all my rant for today XD
90s baby!!! These 2000 kid don't kno word play like Dis!!!! One of my favorite lines is I'll pistol-whip a priest for a cross piece" I'm lost Chief running through strips like I'm top dealer" I'm fillin 10 clips cap pellas dat can stop gorillas!!
Hes talented and stuff but ppl overate tf outta dude. He wasnt like biggie or pun. Them dying was like mac miller and juice. Big L dying was like gee money. Like Big L wasnt that big when he died and hes not that big now
@@saucetacular6092 dont talk shet man he wasnt like pun or biggie cuz he was other kind of mc. Boombap line and lot of punch straight to break your jaw. Pun was the rial shit too but was his style. Big L, Pun, B.I.G & Pac they were legends all in them style
I grew up on this cat, however, I have to disagree with that statement though. If we still had legitimate mc's, then he wouldn't stand out even more than he already reached. Though in the words of who in my opinion is the only real cat in the industry of "rap", is from my man Cassidy, "I have had the best punch lines since Big L died". I believe in my opinion that Cassidy is the best not only today, but more importantly of the history of gangsta rap going back to Grandmaster Flash/Melle and the Ice Tea era to the present. I feel you though, I have a college degree in Music Composition and I am very disappointed with where the demographics have shifted to what people are calling shit real. Idk, what do I know
LOL!!! It still would of been a Jay Z, just not on the level that he's known as now. But on the real if you listen to the old Jay Z, you hear Big L.. But I have been debating this for years, Big L is one of the best to ever do it, its sad how we lose all the GREAT ones and get stuck with all these wack azz mumble rappers..
@@omidnasimfar3272 big L was a more street version of JayZ i believe. They are different but Big L would have tpok alot of swag from Jay thats my opinion.

yo when :55 hits........ fucks me UP. Remember smokin Ls with the homie as he showed me this, his back porch in the summer. 2 white boy outcasts in the suburbs I really vibed with his attitude and the storytelling. Fuck man such a tragedy, he would still be killin it.
L was never under rated. Everyone knew what they were getting, Nas even said that he needed to step his game up after he heard Big L he said he was scared.
@@mervinlee9414 I just think he should get more recognition for his accomplishments in rap. He created a style, his lyrics were unmatched for years to come after they were recorded. The dude was amazing and we lost him wat too young...REST IN PARADISE L!!!!!!!!
There will always be goats who get slept on. Big L was easily the best MC to a cluey and switched on person. He was so ahead of time that his parents never met yet.... of course he was and will always be the best... unmatchable to be honest. The cheek, the confidence, the wisdom, the know, this kid had the perfect traits of being that kid who could change the whole game. Peeps were scared of L, I know I wouldn't of tried to battle somebody that skilled and witty. Definitely out performs biggie and pac in terms of what it takes to be a skilled mc. Much more thought and brilliance comes with big L's delivery, far more actually, I pick up a new line I never realised or that flew over my head each time I have a big L marathon. There will never be anybody like him again sadly, that beautiful era of music is LONG GONE. I mean the amount of times some of his punchlines have left me in stitches from laughter has been more times than I can count with my fingers. Not many rappers can do that for me.
Good morning Fam Coming from the 90s era Big L music is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 RIP ...may his legacy live on forever Man i miss this style of rap .. In a house or drivin ur whip His music needs ear play fo sho !!!!!!
My nigga MVP, can't believe you are gone...FLYEST NIGGA, ILL EMCEE, only the most High knows why you had to leave so early niggaz still ain't seeing you on the rhyming tip...Bless up wherever you at Corleone, The Throne still yours, one love son
See L did spaghetti before Eminem. Both albums are non Skip. You play them through. Always delivered. That's someone who was destined for Top. Jealousy and BS. Forever through those L's up. Also GangStarr. More love for the greatest to do it. Clue is there... Respect 💙
1 of the most underrated albums ever Big L Was just about the hit his prime when he was murdered Just imagine how many more classic tracks he would have made And us as fans Can basically Be grateful that at least we got a little of his talent to listen to because he is truly The rap MVP the most valuable poet Nobody comes close his rhyming skills And the way he was able to put rhymes in rhymes multiple times and make it all make And the way he was able to put rhymes in rhymes multiple times and make it all make sense that's you And the way he was able to put rhymes in rhymes multiple times and make it all make sense That is a unique skill That rapper's these days definitely don't have
