Hi! Since I love seeing what people buy at the grocery store I thought I would share one of our big shops with you too. I included the receipt so you can see exactly what we spent. Four days after this we had lots of people round so had to go back into store for a top-up shop but generally I think this is a reasonable idea of what we buy, although we did get a few more cleaning products than we usually need. Most lidl's brands are great but we shop at Aldi which is technincally the same except from the delicious and mouthwatering fresh bakery. By the way you've done very well but, do you make a use of Lidl's plus card deals?

Very true, we go to Aldi sometimes but I feel I am now more use to Lidl so typically shop there. Big fan of the Lidl Plus app- I have £5 off on there which I need to use tomorrow, shame Aldi don't do something similar.

@@ALittleObsessed The majority of the items in quality wise, me and my family prefer Aldi. Only for some spacific items we like lidl such as the bakery and essentail or non essentail items. We have both those valuable supermarkets within our local area as well as Asda. We do 80% shopping at Aldi and 20% at Asda. We only use to do our main core shop with Asda but, due to the price increase and how Aldi and Lidl's products have improved over the years. From 2020, we decided to do the bulk from Aldi! At least Aldi should have bakery section and points like other supermarkets. The prices from Aldi and Lidl are neglegable.

we shop in lidl too, it’s so good. also the microwave popcorn is the best in lidl. leave it for 2.5min and never burns and you get loads x

I enjoy watching your vlog ,I came upon it while checking out utube channel and decided to watch. It seems like a big supermarket that has a large variety of foods. I like to watch vlogs from the U K it's quite educational. Where in the U k were you shopping, thanks for posting.
