The planar nexus, urza tower combo has me very seriously considering going downstairs into the brew lab to see if there's some way to ghetto-sneak Mishra's Workshop Vintage builds into legacy. We have so many ways to ensure that combination is on the deck by turn 2. But I do guess it leaves you ultra vulnerable to my favorite "pack 4" in legacy; wasteland. This cloud post deck is a contender to become a main deck for me.
Hy in game 2 against Painter. You could have played dismember on magus going to 3 life. Then make ring a creature with karn and bounce with karakas. Cast Emrakul an win. Nice content men!! Thumbs up
Mycosynth lattice allows you to spend mana as any color so you can cast dismember for 3 mana and disembowel magus to unlock all post lands, cast emrakul, attack for win.
Man this version seems much stronger and relatively easier than the previous version, I'm really impressed by futurism on building a deck this different and this good so fast. Bummer that planar nexus is too expensive around here, I'll have to wait a bit to get mine.
@@crucible_of_words absolutely but I'm lucky my LGS allows sanctioned proxies foi reserved list cards. Obviously bigger tournaments don't, but the deck is still quite playable with maze instead, albeit in this version of the deck tabby is stronger than in the previous build.
I've seen a deck running all twenty posts, and I feel like the correct number is somewhere between those, with more copies of Vesuva and one of the new millposts
hi! nice games. At 31:21 would'nt you just dismember the magus, going down to 4, that would leave you with 15 mana, then tutor for sowing mycospawn, cast with kicker to exile ancient tomb and grab second glimmerpost, then combo with emrakul on next turn?
There were several ways I could have played that round better. Essentially I looked at my clock being lower than theirs by a fair bit then panicked and played like crap :(
@@crucible_of_words you had tabby plus lattice lock... that kills everything they have, was instant dismember magus pass cast emmy win... but panik happens.
@@crucible_of_words you agonize over decisions early and it gets you into time trouble. be thinking ahead at your lines and be ready when you get the turn back helps a lot. like a chess clock think on opponents time.
