Q - Keep feed'n us, dog! Respect for the years of history, the content of your videos, and all the great crews and artists you hang with. As a long-time photographer and bencher, SDK and especially Big Miles, made me smile and snicker to myself many a time in the middle of fuck nowhere. I get close with my photos and appreciate the artistry of Miles and so many of the SDK CREW. SDK pieces are sick and the mastery of composition, lettering, and color theory could be applied to any artistic endeavor and the incredible number of pieces done in the Vancouver mainland is Historical. I read a good piece by some dude in Regina that was extraordinary about the rise and collaboration of Ephin, SDK and the Lower Mainland Hip-Hop Scene. I also read your blog and appreciate you sharing. Dude, you need to put the package together. You got it all on Vid and know all the Players. Graffiti, Art, and Music are momentary and new generations continue to evolve and adapt. Graffiti is complicated and has many social layers, you have many of the answers the public wants to hear. Graffiti is everywhere and good or bad, the public interest or distaste is peaking and we see acceptance of Wall Murals and Graffiti transitioning to the art world or Civic anger for the plastering of China Town. I will leave the historical judgment to others, as I never had any skin in the Game and as a long-time observer, the game changed many times over the years. Your contribution with SDK is a historical piece of North West Coast Graffiti history and that period of time should be documented as such! Sorry for the diatribe, but I just wanted to you know that besides all the Piss & Glory, many appreciate all the hard work and risk that your CREW took to create some serious pieces and brought some pleasure and rebellion to the People!
