I don't think Andrew is on a path to redemption at all. Some of that looks like he is turning into an unlikable jerk trying desperately to be macho. I think it is Andrew that is starting that stupid list because it did show him looking at Gina like a thirsty creep right before dancing in a parody of an internet video. Nick and Missy seem to be getting to know each other more in the preview. I think it is the time that Nick and Andrew have a major falling out.

True I mean if only Marty was not such a jerk and taught Andrew how to be nice. Something tells me him and Marty were the same at one point and that's why he hates his son. From him saying I don't like women because we all know how much of an embarrassment Marty is (probablythe scallops). So if in a way Andrew is doomed if he doesn't get a better influencer

Andrew is only being this way due to how his father treats him. How your parents raise you really sticks with a child. His dad is emotionally abusive (weather he knows he's doing it, idk) and his mom is submissive to it all. He "loved" Missy because she was the only one who really took interest in him.

I’m happy that they could give Matthew a character for him to explore his relationship with. There’s a lot for him to decide, like what does he want in a boyfriend, would he stay with this guy just b/c they are the only out kids in the school, would seeing him in a relationship bring out some jealousy from other boys which can bring up some new choices. We don’t know enough about this new guy to know if he’ll be a good match, but he can open the door for a lot of growth for Matthew.

lking1540 -> me to, from the closet scene I thought the hormonmontress was hers, but it’s possible she got reassigned. So far Missy has been emotional but not too hormonal, despite all her logic, it will be interesting to see how puberty is really going to affect her. And it may not be as harsh of a ride as some of the characters, we’ll just have to see 😁

I really really wish this series was more accessible to kids this actual age because it would be so helpful! And! U think the incest plot has a lot to do with not just the porn genre but the fact that a LOT of young people develop crushes based on look on people in their family like far cousins and other people they don’t really see everyday. I do wonder how there going to tackle that.

I think the show definitely has an interesting perspective on puberty and growing up. The show is weird and raunchy because honestly, puberty and growing up can be super weird and raunchy most of the time. It has an in-your-face way of conveying everything, which makes people pay more attention to it, which is helpful when it discusses important issues like the Planned Parenthood episode. It's educational enough to teach you things while still being raunchy enough to work as a comedy and keep your attention for the educational parts. All while holding a main narrative that builds on the characters used to present these ideas.
