Took an overnight trip up north just to check things out. What an awesome place! So many lakes and so quiet. I checked out of my motel and saw a lake off the road to get to the lake I fished at the day prior. I was out there maybe 10 minutes and caught this beauty of a musky. Very happy! I know I need to figure out how to handle a large fish like this but I already have a plan for the next time. At the same time, I am happy how this ended. The fish never left the water and I got to see it up close.
