I wanted a Neo Geo Pocket Color so bad in the late nineties but it was no longer sold when I was a little older and didn't depend on family to buy me videogame consoles anymore. Maybe an Analogue Pocket core is what would finally get me to dive into its library

Nice! I love the Neo Geo Pocket. I had a ton of fun playing through Card Fighters Clash. Only card battling game I've ever enjoyed.

Only thing I need now is a controller that has an analog stick that feels like the NGPC. That click was amazing. Love some Neo Geo Pocket content.

I remember being torn over the neo geo pocket color and the gba. I went with the gba and i dont regret it at all but missed all these great games. I might need to get into it now.

Pretty excited for this. I only ever had 3 carts for my NGPC, but I did buy the console at launch. As far as I know I was the only one of my friend group that owned one.

Documentation on this core is hard to find. I recently tried setting this up, and managed to figure out the bios needs to be renamed to boot.rom. I could only get the system set up to work in black & white, and a few games ran in black & white with corrupted graphics. VGE, could you do a proper setup video? Would appreciate it.

I was very anti-trend back in the day, so when people were playing their Gameboy Colors and Pokemon when I was in high school, the underground cool kids were playing the NGPC rocking SNK vs. Capcom. There weren't many of us, but we thought the NGPC was far superior, plus I didn't care about Pokemon back then. Except for Pokemon Snap, that game was cool.

lol I can't even get the B&W Neo Geo Pocket core working. Loads the BIOS fine, refuses to load any .NGP roms. Hopefully that will get sorted when they start polishing both cores.
