I'm an XMAXX guy, but no one can deny the fact that LOSI makes some damn good machines 👍 great quality, lots of attention to detail and tuff as nails... I would love to have one of their large scale rigs on my shelf! Thanks for the vid!
At a guess I could say the project would be to take the longest jump record as I said some while back the losi DB XLE was the car for the job. Around 33lbs with batteries in, distance isn't all about speed but momentum. If you can get this doing 70mph (fit castle XLX2 and turn the amps up and the speed pinion). Then that'll have far more momentum than a 15lb car doing 100mph. And I have the DB XL-e v1 and it'll clear 30ft+vertical without a problem, but can you front flip it like me :-)
Hello Kev there is a super cool hill climb in nightingale valley Bristol it’s super tall and steep and it’s by a tree with bricks in it, I call it hoss hill because the traxxas hoss is the only car ( or person ) to ever climb it

I've driven my baja rey with an FPV live feed screen and it's definitely a unique challenge ! really immersive though. But the "scale" speed feels like I'm going 500mph and it gets scary lol
This is what I'd like to build for a 100mph off road car. It's so big and stable... with a massive power upgrade I think it could get there and perform well

I upgraded mine with 19T pinion and it reached 111 km/h. Also 19T is the biggest that will fit on stock motor mount. One more note, losi didn't use enough threadlocker on this model so check the front dogbones, becouse on mine the front left pin backed out and did some damage.

kev, p l s get the ftx outlaw and the ftx outback they are soo good i have them and if u stick the outkaw on brushless or buy the brushless version it does 40 offroad!
I throughly enjoyed the radio smashing session with the music haha. As a mechanic we do this almost daily with tools or something else (heavy equipment don’t worry I don’t do this to your cars haha). I really like the dbxle 2.0 and the DX5C is my go to radio right now. I was thinking of a 5T 2.0 as my large scale but seeing this big electric beast I’m gonna have to look into the buggy. It took a good beating I wouldn’t be as rough lol. Special project you will convert it to gas hahah jk
