Question; euro adv, new meta settings, was getting SMASHED by newb, but good ally let me slowly get back in, get really strong, and ended on 3 player end game. After I killed 3rd player I could have beat my ally. BUT instead I abandoned both caps and gave him win, as without him I’d have lost when I was at 1 territory with 3 troops, end of game I had 277 troops lol - was I a fool?!
As long as you played the game and had fun, that's all that matters. If it was a fun and rewarding experience for you to end the game like that, then who are we to question it? I try to always play for the win but I have honored deals in tournaments where I need to take a lower placement instead of backstabbing

Played a game just after midnight as it’s my bday - advanced Euro, caps, fixed, alliances, blizzards, balanced blitz, unstable portals / I WON! 3 experts, 1 master, 1 beginner - beginner was my only ally, didn’t take my betrayal well - had to literally drag him along till the end and while he botted near the end, I still killed all the other botted players before my former ally
@@KyltedGaming best part was a LOT of stuff I did thanks to watching your videos, the old reach arounds, leaving enough stacks in dangerous positions to help me get payback on border breakers, and keeping the cap strong, but also seeing a chance to trade my cap for one that had way better end game, allowed me to get into a winning position despite having 3 live players on the board in addition to me
Capping in Italy is not very good. You need 3 guards to protect it. It is also difficult to go for a second bonus. The bonus you get is not that much. You may get your cap stolen easily
