Tua and McDaniel are OBSESSED with getting the ball to Tyreek. I think all of that talk about him getting 2,000 yards got into their heads, and they subconsciously made it their mission to get him that record. Tua totally forgets that he has other capable receivers on the field. Look at how much Jalen Waddle's numbers have dropped off this season, and he's been healthy for most of it. And if you look at the games against the good teams, Tyreek has made a habit of dropping TD passes: dropped one against the Eagles. Dropped one against Baltimore. Dropped one against the Bills. This team got too caught up in its own hype, and that includes the coach.

I will say, this season from a record standpoint was one of the best in years. Unlike most past seasons, this team definitely has the talent to be special in the league. We just need the coach to actually learn from his mistakes, and grow-up. But all of the ingredients are there for success.

The playcalling was horrific in the 2nd half. Bubble screeens and motions don't work with all the injuries and new guys. Run the damn ball between the guards ffs.

Ultimately GMs are evaluated by their qb draft picks and if we are gonna put McDaniel and Tua on the hot seat we must also put Chris Grier on the hot seat. Nobody cares about finding a steal in the 3rd round if you can't find a franchise quarterback.

At this point, losses in big time games are expected (back to normal Dolphins expectations unfortunately). I initially entered the season with optimism that we could get at least a couple of big time wins against the better teams. In my opinion, so far we have one big time win against the Cowboys (at home btw and I have trouble counting the Chargers as one). Mike Mcdaniel clealry needs help in game, need to bring in a more "hardass" disciplinary guy who can keep Mcdaniel and some of the star players in check throughout the game. McDaniel may have the players respect (which I'd confidently say he does), but he appears all over the place too often in games, especially bigger games where its a back forth chess match. Tua is TOO Married to this system and often times just throws to spots without even ensuring theres an opportunity there. Its all fun and cute against the innept teams but better coached/equipped teams use it to their advantage and sit on routes

We didn't touch the ball in the third quarter. Bills had it for 13 mins. And we went backwards every time we ran in 4th. We had to throw. Relievers need to catch the ball

We only had 17 total plays in the 2nd half. When Buffalo tied the score, McDaniel called two running plays with achane, net gain 1 yard. We punted a d then Buffalo scored to go up 21-14. McDaniel had to pass at that point because he screwed the pooch in the 2nd half and Buffalo adjusted their scheme to play that achane pitch play.

Given the rash of injuries on the defense, you couldn't ask much more from them. Tua has an elite level QB mind, but limited by his pedestrian athletic abilities. His lack of arm strength is his ultimate albatross and the reason he will never be elite. Intermediate throws at the hashes are his bread and butter - but he can't make the deep outs needed at the next level. McDaniel is still learning and he has learned some hard lessons this season, but he abandoned the run and there was the ultimate downfall for the offense. Special teams has been ok, but the punt return was the back breaker. Being a long time Dolphins fan, I feel these sorts of let downs are expected at this point. They are going to have a lot of decisions to make this offseason and money is already tight. Hopefully we can pull of an upset in KC.

Time to move on from Tua. our record vs top teams is 1-5 this season. Those good teams we didnt get the brakes beat off us & Tua had the opportunity to make a last min gm winning drive has failed due to his poor decision making

The bills adjusted to the misdirection that was killing them in the 1st half and took the run away. Then they were able to get Tua off his first read and he became a mediocre QB. The d couldn't get off the field in key spots and special teams gave up the biggest play of the game. Go Bills

Did you watch the game? Miami ran 3 times in the second Half. So Miami didn't run because of the Bills second half adjustments to 3 runs? McDaniel should relieve himself of play calling duties!

I just don't see the killer instinct from Tua that I use to see when he was a rookie and at Alabama. I don't know if it's the system but his game winnIng drives have been successful only once this season. You gotta command the huddle I don't think he can handle the pressure.

Tua has the ability to be an elite quarterback but needs to be coached better. Teaching your quarterback to make good decisions is part of coaching. TUA consistently makes the same mistakes and ill-advised throws in crucial moments. Needs to be taught to manage the game better, take what the defense gives. High percentage throws, move the chains, don’t force something that’s not there.

Big O- 3 run plays in the 2nd half after averaging over 6 yds in the first half- The overly reliance on Tyreek- Lack of adjustments by McDaniel- Tua shrinking in big moments- something Tua lacking, you knew after the run back Allen was going to put that team on his back- Tua will not do that

The Bills made halftime adjustments to take the run away. Miami was using a lot of misdirection that the bills adjusted to and were able to stop them and put them behind the sticks quickly and in passing downs. The dolphins barely had the ball in the second half. And let's face it the score was much closer than the game. Buffalo forfeited a lot of points via turnovers.

Disappointing loss, seems like a dream, the only solace is , only 1 team will win the Super Bowl. In all my years of watching the Dolphins, I don’t recall having so many injuries. Last year it was, if Tua stays healthy, if Tua stays healthy, Tua do not extend the play. Who would have ever imagined having so many injuries. Most disappointing seasons of all-time.

The team is now 1st rd playoff exit mediocre. It’s a step up from just missed the playoffs mediocre. McDaniel needs someone to help him manage game decisions. He also needs someone that will yell, “Run the ball!” at him every offensive drive.

Special team did not play to the standard. 57 total yards on offense during the second half of the game. Too many players injured. Great execution on behalf of the Buffalo Bills. Dolphins still cannot shake the narrative of playing well in the last part of the season. What the heck gets in their heads is a prevailing theme every year.

My optimism unfortunately has shifted back to the usual amount, it'd be cool to win a playoff game but I don't see how they beat the bills or the ravens at this point. The playcalling was seriously questionable for large chunks of the game, the injuries have seriously mounted up, especially on defense. The defense has looked really good and faltered like any defense would if their on the field 80% of the game. Tua stayed healthy and he played well this year but he still has some question marks he'll have to answer next year. He'll have to play out his 5th year option in my opinion, he'll have to play a full season and not turn the ball over in key situations to make me trust him like a top QB. I think he can do it, but I have no trust in Tua or the offense/ offensive playcall at this point to go very far in the playoffs this year. All that being said there were times this season that I thought the phins could beat any team in the NFL and even dreamt of a Super Bowl. It was short-lived but damn was it nice!

Think TUA was 17 for 25 for a buck sixty yards , D had Josh Allen's num in first half then forgot how to get pressure on him in 2nd half , 5 opportunities on offense and couldn't get it done

Mike needs to learn patience. That is the number one problem with this offense. The first half looked great and the second half the Bills stop a few runs and then they give up completely. How about some dink and dunk passes to the TEs and RBs like most successful teams do. The defense will have to start playing a little tighter and then throw one of the 20 plus yard passes. It seems like every pass is down field and Buffalo had everyone double covered. If they are double covering everyone, why not run the ball. I just don't get what they are trying to prove. We have a great running game. Lean on it. Embrace it. Buffalo is doing it right now. They know Josh Allen can sling the ball all over the field, but that eventually has been their achilles heel in the playoffs the past three seasons. I know every QB makes bad throws once in while, but that last pass was just unbelievable. Tua had time and he stared down Claypool. I know he had to see the safety coming down and threw the ball anyway about 2 yards ahead of him. Find the one on one match ups for god sake!

Freaking Tua throws all the time to double, triple, and sometimes into quadruple coverage cause the script says so. Cmon man! Improvise and throw to someone who must be open. Think smarter and don’t just blindly follow the damn script if it ain’t there - you ain’t that accurate.

2 brutal drops. The D was on the field for mcgreeny abandoning the run. Tuas last interception was even McDaniels a flat... Here's why... Why give waddle all the reps in practice and not give others the backs obviously needed. Claypool was way out of phase on both passes his way. The second was that pick. That was actually the right pass and should have been caught several yards in front of the defenders. Perfect pass to catch at that spot and step out. Mcdounce totally screwed this up. Mistake after mistake. No player was in a position to win. It's as simple as why absolutely abandon something that was working well. You change a nuisance, but don't abandon. The bills were all over the plays all game... Stale plays!!! Tuas first pick was on him. Underthrown. The not passing it around is on McDaniel for becoming Tyreek dependent and Greir for not giving him a o line. Miami was done going into this game. Buffalo put it on a Silver platter. Fangio did a great job with what he had. With a god dam tight end and an o line, Tuas the MVP and we take the SB next year

Hill dropped passes and Tua choked. Tua has tunnel vision for one receiver from the snap, he stares down the receiver the entire time, forget about check downs. He’s a lot like Tyler Van Dyke in that aspect. A whopping 173 passing yards in the game. 😡

Dolphin fans need therapy after every bad loss. All these years of not winning the division a playoff game. This team has good players on both sides of the ball. Unfortunately, poor coaching by McDaniel and Fangio has cost them several close games. TUA definitely needs to make better decisions especially when the game is on the line, but the play calling by McDaniel was the reason they lost yesterday against the Bills. He was out coached in the second half.

Only 1 first down in 2nd half , mediocre field general aka TUA , abandoned running game again , didn't change anything for 2nd half , special teams blew it on a kick return , TUA was only looking for Tyreek yet again in coverage , 2 picks for his trouble , Tyreek dropped another TD , on the coaching as well , Too soft on the players when they screw up

Bills fan here. Why Miami has a great chance vs the Chiefs.? Miami is great vs the run. That’s what kc does best when Pacheco is healthy. They suck at passing. Can Miami keep Kielce check. Of course. You have baker n Ramsey for it. And he has no been good all year.

Josh Allen had cooks drop a TD pass, he also missed diggs on a deep TD pass, and he turned the ball over 3x to the dolphins and still won. Good teams will make you pay, but the dolphins are not a good team. They are the same trash team weve seen for the last 25+ years wrapped in a different box. Josh Allen won despite all that I mentioned, bcuz he is a difference maker. He can extend plays, cannon arm. He is elite. Tua is Tannehil 2.0 Great ppl but just not good enough at the qb position to make a difference.

I will tell you for sure what caused the collapse: Tyreek Hill is way to inconsistent......he dropped that big 3rd down play in the 3rd qtr......I think we need to cut him after the season and save the money because we need to shave a lot to get under the cap.
