Those engines has often made a huge power service during their life. Proud men made them, and the fact that they still runs proves it.

These 100+ year old engines put many of the modern ones to shame. Hardly any smoke at all from most of them. They could put British Ford Mondeo to shame.

I was on a navy tug as an enginman ytb819 and ytb822 both having opposed piston engines made by Fairbanks Morse, and I loved it every time I got to start it

I was surprised that the picture at the headline was not included in the video. I think that was of an old engine I had seen at Big Bend National Park.
