Big Pit: National Coal Museum 

Worked underground in Cwm Colliery, South Wales for 20 years. Great pit, great men.

I will never forget my visit to Big Pit. It really had a huge effect on me. I spent 5 hours plucking up the courage to go down the mine and was so glad I did!

Went as a child in 1989 and thought it was very interesting, still have my coal cart carved from coal. Will no doubt go again one day!

Great film. Big Pit is well worth a visit, must return soon.

Does anyone that works in big pit remember a school that came to visit on 6th February 2019 i was one of the girls that held the door keeley and tianna I remember the mans name that was talking with the helmet on first his name is Andrew he’s the one who took us on the tour big pit is is definitely worth a time going to
