Im pretty sure the reason the Ocean story line isnt finish was because of a player named of Xx_H_P_xX spread rumors that theres a really difficult and unbalanced boss thats apparently bugged its way in from the Celestial story line
Actually your render distance gets set automatically due to your connection. The Devs haven't added a way to remove this issue, so some modders created the "glasses" mod to help with these issues. I wish the Devs would start patching parts of the game which actually require it.
Tushar Sundarka that wasn’t a mod it was a vanilla exploit like all the other so-called “mods”. The game’s code is notoriously difficult to understand, even harder to modify, though we have a small dedicated community trying to understand it.
It's just a trick by the devs. If your eyesight is too weak to render all in at once, the more distant buildings and locations are rendered with low resolution textures and fewer poligons. They get replaced by the real models with all the graphics as you get closer. I tried running real fast to see where the anti aliasing kicks in, but I never managed to reach it.
Bruh the water levels suck though, terrible mobility unless you buy the submarine DLC, and if you go too deep down into the water, you randomly get squished to death or something? I think that might be a glitch.
They haven't even fixed the "squash" glitch people has been mentioning multiple times whenever you enter the deep levels of the ocean,that shit is a huge disadvantage and requires a lot of money to continue searching.
You know, i heard from somewhere someone saying there is a trick to get the best life difficulty, you need to commit suicide multiple time until you were born in a royal family or something by abusing rebirth system, i dont know if the rebirth system is real or not, i never heard the developer add that feature
@@ae9982 yea the glitch was discovered by that one guy in the Tibetan server. He even created his own clans of players who taught others about it too. Unfortunately, the Chinese admins took over the server so most of the old clan members had to seek refuge in the Indian server now
I wouldn’t have made my custom character so ugly if I knew that you can’t change it after you’re in the game... and the expansions to modify appearance are so expensive! They really need to add a free look-change or something
There's another glitch, where you just get so much of the in-game currency that it nullifies the "ugly" debuff. It'll still be there, but it will have no effect on the "acquire female" meta.
right?? you can change your outfits in game and customize some topical features like your hair n shit, but I randomly got the 'ugly' debuff and been angry about it ever since. Takes wayyyy too much money to disable the debuff ;/
It's super imbalanced, all builds are complete garbage if you don't have the "Rich Parents" perk, even the stupidest build with it is better than the best builds without it.
I give the game 3 stars out 5 since you can't do much without coins and you can't change your character ... Overall good game to pass time until you pass away

Brah it’s cuz ladies are forced to play hard mode and our avatars spend the whole time being convinced the incentive program is sooooo worth it or worse are forced into the parent side quest because a lot of people deluded themselves it was part of the rules to appease their patron deity. Plus no game is complete with out raiders I guess so ofc we got a bunch of npcs programed to raid bodies.
I mean it takes ages for even experienced players to plot out their balanced character with all the ways each minuscule things effect the stats and all.
There is no character editor in Outside, it's decided depending on the genes of your parent players, and you can change your avatar once you reach a higher level.
Now I just want to see an “Earth is garbage and here’s why” review talking about how Earth makes no sense and what they would have done to improve the story

Max Hyde Have you tried putting your player on sleep mode? And alternative to drugs could be the meditation feature. I haven’t figured it out myself, but apparently it helps for some people?
Yeah the American guild and the Soviet guild both were experimenting with lag machines that could render entire chunks of land useless. good thing neither side used them on a large scale.
When I spawned everything looked blurry, after 4 years I figured out it wasn’t a game bug, just a debuff on my character. It sucks how much I gotta pay to play the game normally. 3/10.
I feel ya there, I almost failed the middle school quest cause my character needed a debuff, it kinda sucks that some characters are hindered like that when they spawn
@@noxlupa2996 the devs have been working on it for a while, I had to spent all my coins on glasses to get rid of the B L I N D debuff it’s quite triggering and I hope they add easier ways to get rid of these, it causes lots of players to end up lagging out of the game
That's how they earn money I guess, seeing as it is free to download. It's really sneaky though, my logic and time management stat was totally nerfed, made the School tutorial really difficult
I’d suggest you go for the system upgrade of “national healthcare” most servers have it but the USA server is pretty behind on updates. If you can’t get the admins to update I suggest you find a backdoor through volunteer groups or you may need to move servers
Me and other devs aren't getting money out of this, all money present in the game is always from one player to another player, but shamefully, some server mods have been using exploits to get micro-transactions out of other players, saying is for the devs or for "server upgrades", which is a lie
You can also try the Excercise mechanic. They say doing it weekly will provide a stamina/power increase and it's "supposed" to boost up your appeal meter. Buuut nothing really boost that up like copious amounts of in game currency.

Once this quest is completed, certain side quests will no longer be available.. I believe 'friends with benefits' , 'crazy cat lady' and 'mens best friend' are a few of those
@@Zowiezo101 i don't think so, if you manage to get the quest "Heart Break" you might be able to get some of those back, though you'll have a temporary sad debuff,.
Can someone please tell me how to load one of my previous saves? I didn't understand the mechanics at first, and now I realize I've made some grave errors in my build resulting in my character being largely ineffective and not very fun to play. I don't want to roll a new character, because I rolled decent stats, with a high INT and got good rolls on some related talents. However, critically failing the "Get a degree" side quest has left me with the "Student Loan Debt" flag which is hard enough to clear when you actually succeed in the side quest, but it's almost impossible without the "Degree" quest item.
Sadly you can't. When you start playing that's the only character you play in and when you die you can't make a different account. I didn't realise this at first so I'm stuck with what I have :/ the game should be more specific with new players
"controlling an empire" really just means controlling every choke point, doesn't actually have to take that many people -- but that also means it can fall apart super fast

They were payed by the devs to fix out the bugs and stuff when they were going to add it into the main world....of course the reason they ignored it was it was really really in the building stage so most of the dlc stuff wasn't added in yet...
It was never brought up because the Vikings were thought of poorly and the other servers didn’t want the Viking clan to be known as the first outsiders to find that feature.
@• yeah but when they adapted to the non bugged version they were hit with deadly plague debuffs like polio and small pox, which the rest of the players were used to, causing their player base to crash
during some of the playable parts of that section i get randomly affect with the “dissociation” debuff. really lowers my charisma and dexterity stats during interaction and quicktime events :(
@@lejohn_e64 i hear it's most certainly pointless and designed basically as a troll sort of initiation where older more knowledgeable players get noobs to waste their most exp earning years doing a "tutorial" that they made based on the times they got that done to them. I hear most who dedicate their lives to it actually just see it as a way to help noobs pvp older players eventually
This game sucks. It’s 40hrs a week of grinding/farming just to get enough food to keep your HP from running out and maybe enough leftover to buy some low-mid tier equipment. Then you get like 1-2 weeks tops of a fun side quest per year and the rest of the time is reading lore about amazing players doing awesome story missions that you never get to experience yourself

I’m of the opinion that we should really sort out the bugs and weird clan drama happening on the main map before the devs release any more expansion. Also Elon is an exploit-abusing toxic tryhard.
He was also a bit of an elitist. Using hacks like "walking on water" and then turning his foot water into wine and then looking at everyone like they are stupid, not understanding why the rest of the players didn'tget it. Because you're the one with the cheat codes "bro". ;p
Oh yeah he could do all that cool shit that he said everyone else could do if they bought his merch. Too bad he was found out to just have a modded version paid for by his dad. Disappointing.
As a developer of this game, we’d like to say, we gave Alexander “The Great” too much knowledge, that we had to burn the library. Oh and Napoleon69 was actually a bot that was accidentally loaded into the code and began messing up the Europe server. I think, we accidentally buffed these apes, a little too much.
The disconnected but then went truly outside and met the Devs... And now the are sitting right next to them planning the next expansion pass for the remaining players.
Unfortunately, some people get the “low resolution” seed when spawning in. They have to purchase the “glasses” upgrade or compromise the enjoyability of the game. Edit: Guys, you won't believe me, but they added something similar but for ears. How crazy is that?
Worst thing is that you will lose attractiveness points when using that item. That’s why I bought the Contact-lenses DLC, but it requires a lot of concentration points to be mastered perfectly
The games lore was solid until the year 2000's expansion then players forgot the meaning of role-playing and are now just fucking around untill the devs pull the plug
This “Education” questline is absolute garbage. So many stupid restrictions given to you by the higher level players, as well as mandatory sidequests that must be completed by a certain date!
Crispy Crunchy Yes i agree, those annual "science fair" event quests were the absolute worst. But don't even get me started on the "physical fitness" quests! For some reason they would always raise the difficulty level of the game during that specific quest, what were the developers thinking
Real "easy" is just for those that have the Rich or Rich and Famous pack. You can earn it in the game but it's a shitload of work and brain burning (ask Elon). Most of those that have a lucky bastards that began the game being spawned in a Clan that already has the pack.
@@Khalael1416068 Not sure about that. Most of them can't even finish the game because they get a bug called depression and kills themselves. Who does that when you don't have respawn, right?
Outside has been worked on for a while and is one of my favorite games, but I have some criticism. - Spawning It sucks that you can't even control where you spawn. Spawn in the best place, or the worst place. No control. It's also a pain to travel. - Discrimination Another big thing of where you spawn. No chat filter, no report! You cant escape it and it sucks. - Chat filter As I said, no chat filter. Anyone can just say anything and make fun of you with no filter. Smh. - Death This is inefficient because you're just living your best life and suddenly die! It can be sad and you have to wait for who knows how long to find another body. - Travel Travel SUCKS. There's no fast travel, just airplanes and shit. And those aren't even always affordable! When you need to travel but can't spend money you can either walk or drive, both extremely tiring. - Direction It doesn't guide you anywhere. Sometimes you just have to walk up to someone and ask them for directions. And sometimes they're homeless men trying to sell you drugs, or people giving you directions to the nearest knife shop, or they speak a different language. The tutorial level is either the best or worst part of Outside, because the tutorial level can vary depending where you randomly spawn, your parents and much more. For me it was mostly decent, with some good and bad moments sprinkled in.
@@evose1238 A pretty strong flaw is also that you need some stuff just for finishing the tutorial and never need it again. And some stuff taught in the tutorial is simply wrong, but only few people learn about that in the advanced tutorial. But in most countries the advanced tutorial is also riddled with microtransactions and in addition to that you even have to pay for a subscription service! Also for most people in the European and North America Servers the tutorial is amongst the times where you have most time for sidequests, while later many follow the mainquest to such an extent that they do barely sidequests. And the mainquest needs a lot of grinding in most cases. Also the tutorial is rated and has a severe influence, but in most cases the admins decide wether that's the case and don't even tell it to the players! And for a lot of people on the Asia, Africa and South American Server the tutorials aren't available at all!
annoying thing is that everyone has a different tutorial and if it was bugged, had glitches or was like a normal play through you will have to pay credits for your character to have equal stats, broken tutorial can of course level up you quicker but it will still affect mental helth bar and ptsd will affect your character uncontrollably in certain situations
Did the first humans just evolve already knowing what food is and what is considered edible? Like did they evolve and adapt knowing this food is good and that food is bad? Or how did they know hunger means you have to eat? What to eat though? How were they supposed to know they had to eat to not die from hunger?
I believe that the hunger mechanic was introduced in patch 0.6.9., or "multicellular sexy times dlc".. Players would progressively evolve over the versions into more complex forms, requiring more sophisticated energy sources. A lot of this evolution was mostly just trial and error, and the survival+reproduction of favourable random mutations that had better chances of progressing into the next stages in this game. Thousands of generations of experimentation in consumption of things honed the instinct to find certain energy sources more appetizing (efficient) than others, long before the homo sapien was unlocked as a playable character.
Well it was mostly trial and error... if you saw a player eat something and die, you knew it was The Bad Food, but it took a few sacrifices to figure out The Good Food.
Wish they would add a "save game" feature. I keep accidentally choosing the wrong dialogue and its ruining my play-through. Most NPCs attack me on sight, my +rep with the few factions I've managed to join has plummeted, and now I can't even complete the main quest. Not to mention there's no option to start over from the very beginning. Completely broken.
I like how the devs responded to all the complaints about the covid patch and their solution was to release a teaser for a potential WW3 / American Civil War update that just seems terrible so far in the beta.
@@ahmadx8523 That's just gossip. Only one player was able to use the reset button about 2K years ago, and even that is considered gossip by 30% of the playerbase.

Its just the government guild mods that have been actively stopping it these days. They know that when we stop rping and just go all out pvp, they lose their source of income.
Now everyone else thinks they can do it too but the devs still haven’t said whether it’s true or not! Like seriously I want to know whether the legendary Abraham player really lived up to 175 and if Moses could really get a mythical water-bending item!!!!!!!! Pretty much everything after the full release in 0AD/CE they just ignored everything in the preclassic, classic, alpha and beta stages.
To gain loot from kills you have to find quests that pay you for kills. These quests can be found in the “Deep Web”, but beware it’s full of hackers and banned players there
I think the reason (people thinks) official canon of this universe ended by "only Human Extinction ends War on Terror" was: to have it steer clear from any (zanier) science fiction and supernatural elements

You can join the satanists guild i heard if you become a high tier member you unlock the black magic perk it lets you make deals with one of the devs thats working on the debuffs and maintaining the player count maybe he can return his account
ArmyAntAdam I think they really doubled down on ensuring it wasn’t an anarchy anymore after the whole “world war” thing”They came out with this whole “UN” and that was basically the final blow that killed the whole anarchy thing
actually, there are many santas. 4 million to be correct, and they actually morph into the games while debuff. if you read the console commands you can see how santas source code is usually on the east wall of your house. the devs have a pretty stale and old way of implementing this type stuff.
I'm pretty sure he's an npc, considering he's only active one night a year during the Winter event, but it's possible he could be a very skilled player with timer and invisibility hacks.
