Your YT channel is very informative. I like your alternate materials. We all have to get creative from time to time as required because you can't always buy what you need when you need it or you run across some material and such which makes a lightbulb go off in your head and you end up getting the result you want, even if It's not " by the book" so to speak!

Really enjoy your videos and channel. You always deliver great information about where to source materials that are comparable to what can be purchased for 2, 3, and 4 times as much. In my experience fishing ... you will probably lose the"hook" (fly OR jig) before a fish can tell you spent $1 on a feather, instead of $3! I have to be honest I wasn’t aware that you wrote books too. They also sound like just the kind of books I enjoy so here’s to hoping I can win one to get started on the collection
I have written two short story books. They are basically humorous outdoor books. The first two books are "It's Called a Trout Stamp Not a Food Stamp" and "Ramblings of the Man Who Killed 1000 Ducks and 20 Friendships". I am working on releasing the 3 book out soon.

Fly fishing is not as huge Down Under like the USA & Europe but it’s getting better. Out of all my friends who fish I’m the only one who fly fishes that’s how I ended of with my nickname Fly Rodder.
