The University of Pennsylvania is one of the best universities in the world. Founded by Benjamin Franklin and part of the Ivy League, Penn is known for its dedication to public service, its remarkable balance of academic rigor and a vibrant social life, and its groundbreaking school of medicine (Perelman, the first in the United States) and collegiate business school (Wharton, also the first in the United States).

LeBunneh Hunneh Not sure if she was actually being sarcastic or she was being honest. To be a student at UPenn and complain its not Harvard is pretty fucked up. She should have never attended UPenn and let someone else that is truly passionate about UPenn to attend. This is a similar situation to insanely competitive public University of California schools; where UC San Diego kids think the worst thing about UC San Diego is that its not UC Berkeley or UCLA.

Penn is the only Ivy League I was accepted into (granted I only applied to 2), and I am honestly so thankful I got in since it was my top school. I hate it when people say things like this; it kind of gets on my nerves.

I went to Penn and it was a true pressure cooker. Some people completely cracked under the pressure because they surrounded themselves with the most cut throat people. Thankfully I was more shielded from the ugly side of the culture

Maybe the girl that claims "The worst thing about Penn is that it's not Harvard" was being sarcastic. But if she was serious, she should have never attended UPenn and hogged a spot from candidates that were passionate about UPenn. Regardless if she just "slightly" better of a candidate. A rejected candidate that was "slightly" worst would probably do better at UPenn than her if they were passionate about what they do. To quote - "You do the best at what you are passionate about." Furthermore - its interesting to see Ivy League students knock on each other. Its like the University of California undergrad kids. Where the top UC (Berkeley, LA, SB, and Irvine) all knock on each other in some way. Life lesson folks: *doesn't matter where you go as an undergrad - it don't affect your chances of a grad school if you choose to apply.*

As a French student, I’ll remember that the best reason why penn is a good university (compare to france) is the beautiful first girl. That thing make me realize that I have to come right here! 😂🤌🏼
