@@technical8314 they used the G21 Goose from the late 40s all the way up until 1980. There were actually two different airlines that flew to the island during that time. They switched ownership over the years and had different names and paint liveries. By the time 1978 rolled around only Caralina airlines was still in operation. Air Catalina was grounded in 77 due to corrosion found on their Goose fleet. There were two fatal crashes in 79 and they stopped carrying passengers with the goose after 1980. They briefly used Grumman mallards during that time as well. I was fascinated with these planes as a kid and would sit and watch them take off and land all day. The sound of those dual radial engines at full throttle is awesome. Thanks for the great video. This simulator is so realistic.

Hi Ellis , really pleased this brought back some memories for you - I hope I captured the scene OK. Yes I think there is still work to be done on the water physics in the sim, although the float issue may be just for this particular model. It is possible to see the aircraft as you describe with one float in and one out of the water, but as you say at rest in this video it seems to sink too low in the water. It could be the my loaded weight settings causing this problem here

I agree. I've mentioned how it sits too low in the water on the forums, but no one else seems to notice or care. It's still a problem 11 months later, so Big Radials doesn't seem to have addressed it.
