Have to say, of all scale rc crawlers, stock at least, this one actually might make clearing snow a more enjoyable job without taking much longer to do it.
Exactly! Ive had 1:10 trucks stock, modified, tracks, 6x6. Tried finding the best plow combo. But this 1:6 scale is stock. About 25lbs. 2x larger plow and much stronger. It moves a good amount of snow. Needs more weight and probably tire chains before I try again
@@teleguided900 I mean, I’ve seen multiple people on RU-vid review the 1:6 jeep and it can tow a car with some help. Not surprised it does so well! Do you happen to know how many inches wide did you make yours?
This is exactly why I bought an axial scx6 and made it pan tilt Digital FPV... But no plow kit available yet... Might have to retro fit a Kraton 8s plow or scratch build like you did here
Oh cool! Yes I saw the scx6 pull a car, pull kids around so it had to be one of the better Rc’s for plowing. It would be ever better with more weight and chains. But it can move snow that my best 1:10 could never already!
@@teleguided900 I've personally ridden on mine, just like Kevin Talbot or Seth from Berm peak. I'm not against adding a brick or 3 to add weight to plow with. Drop on a bunch of them new treal metal axles and stuff and that would help too. We got our first snow storm this year last night... About 6 inches, and I'm sitting here right now trying to figure out how to put my snow shovel on the front of my Axial to plow my driveway. I have some tire chains for an old tmaxx that might fit these
@@TheOneAndOnlyRandy I have some solid steel that Im cutting up to put in 2 of 3 battery trays. That way body will still fit. I was thinking about building a chevy pickup and a scale sander but I think now ill work on that for next winter
@@teleguided900 that's a good idea too... Brass or tungsten would be a better choice tho would't it? Aside from cost I guess. I'm not too into the whole "scale" thing. I just like to bash, and fly drones and planes. This scx6 is my first "scale " crawler and honestly I don't crawl much with it, just bash it like my Kraton or Revo

Exactly I have tried so many 1/10 combinations. Weight, 2.2s, Traxx, 6x6. They just dont have the weight and size behind them that the scx6 has. Cheers!
@@teleguided900 built as a K-20, Short Box, you could put a load of sand in back for that scale thing. Out here, the Gladiators are actually doing ok pushing plows with a full sand load in the back. Someone will come out with something. With the popularity, Axial might just go ahead and do another one. Have a good day, man. Gotta go put my K-5 away. @@brianellison3525 I would love a square body for the scx6. Im personally not a jeep guy. I was thinking of building a k10/20 scratch styrene body and make a functional sander for the weight missing. But by that time the snow would probably be gone haha
