Bruno bonds with Olivia. For the first few months, Bruno has been just present with Olivia, We didn't force him to get closer to him or put her closer to him. Just slowly worked their way together. So far so good! :)
We had a rottie named Nikki and she was the absolute BEST dog when our girls were little. She helped our oldest learn how to walk by letting her pullup on her and hang onto her scruff. And oh how she loved licking little baby toes and stealing their socks. We miss you sweet girl!!!
@@braxfan683 They completely are. She was the sweetest girl. I've had an akita, 2 cocker spaniels, my rottie and a border collie...all excellent breeds, but we had to put down our 13 yr old border collie 10 mos ago. Gotta give my heart a rest before getting another pup.
Bruno will never have hip issues. He has great bone development (you know that the way he lays with his hind legs out like that) and which means he was well bred. Thank you for promoting our majestic breed.
@@Ton-gm3lf arthritis is not what i was referring to and is completely different than what I mean..i am talking about hip dysplasia and mal formation of bone. Arthritis is different and evetyone gets it no matter how well bred

That's what is tough about Rottweilers. There was a special bond with this family member, then when you become a teen it is time to say farewell. Real conversations you have with a real personality, but without words. Only people who shared their early lives with a Rottweiler can understand it.
OMG between beautiful absolutely completely adorable Olivia and Bruno the sweet precious adorable big baby overgrown puppy that he is, I don't know how mom and dad can stand all of that concentrated cuteness in one dwelling. We only have one adorable sweet male rottie and he distracts us all day by being so cute, we have to scratch his belly, play with him, etc. I am continually amazed at how similar Bruno is to our boy, it's mind blowing, even the way he moves and the faces he makes, so much alike. I melted into a puddle on the floor when you said Bruno never used to sleep in that spot, that was so adorable, he will guard Olivia with his life. I adore Bruno, and the funny texts. And I also have to give you parents a huge compliment: you are super parents, you give Bruno all this space near the little baby which is super, at the same time you give the baby all the love; you are clearly AMAZING mature parents! I salute you!
A scary reputation but they really are sweet if you raise them right. Great with kids.I took my golden to the vet, there was a Rottweiler in the waiting room. Very sweet and calm.
Great idea putting her on her stomach to strengthen her back so she will sit up sooner. I am actually doing that with my grandson. Adorable FAMILY!!! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊

Bruno is A great nanny dog taking great care of his baby sister. This is a very great relationship between baby and bruno. Bruno knows that she will be giving treats to him when she can walk and crawl and chase him. Look out bruno.
My grandma used to have a rottweiler when I was very small. Her name was Maggie (but her nick name was fatty because, well, she was quite fat). She was born with hip problems and had a very hard time walking, and she came from a bad place (my grandma rescued her from a home where the kids there were abusive to her). She was really sweet and kind, and incredibly gentle (when I was two or three I used to give her dog treats out of the palm of my hand). She was so wonderful, and I am so greatful to have had her in my life growing up.
OMG! I had a gorgeous rottie when we adopted our baby girl - Olivia! They were inseparable! Cohorts in crime when she got older! Just nice memories. This was 23 years ago.
You guys are adorable. Not brushing Bruno aside and keeping him included in every aspect of Olivia's day to day loving/care works and they will be inseparable as MsPrettyGirl grows. Love it!!

Gday luv Oh ok it takes time for dogs to realize a baby is part of the pack but once they do they are very protective. Olivia has the perfect babysitter wait until she walks Bruno will be her shadow.. He's such a Rottie..
they will always be the best breed i miss mine so much ... now i have a pitbull she is awesome but the breed overall takes more time to train ... my rottie was off his leash at 4 months old you can not find a better family dog than this breed... they are truly a special breed ...

My sister and her fiance have a rottie. She's the absolute sweetest thing, loves everybody. My girlfriend has an East-European shepherd that's rather skittish (poor girl was abused as a pup ): ) but when we took the shepherd to my family's Christmas Eve gathering, their rottie bonded with her immediately, and she found herself perfectly at home.

Bruno is a great dog. It is so nice to see him with the baby. Very soon the dog and your baby will start to play together. I knew a dog who helped the a 2 years old çhild to emptying the cupboard. I think they will be the best friend together.
