@@ramadanslim9470 but if nobody taught the parent, how are they going to teach their kids. The school system gotta do better. We’re being fed information that the majority of us do not need. I do agree that parents have to do better, but the real sad truth is that the system is designed for us to fail. It’s all about the money.

@@emiliaanderson254 Honestly, the whole video was tasteful. It showed nothing but love, respect and admiration for Nip & his legacy. There’s no need to knit pick bro, Sean has nothing but love for him 🤞🏾💙
"Damn, I realize all my setbacks were inside of me, In high school I learned chemistry, biology, But not how to cope with anxiety" Big Sean speaking the truth right here...keep going King
“N**gas is banging over blocks that they don’t own thinking that’s home. Boy you think that’s where you from? You don’t really know where you from. You don’t know how deep your roots is and what your ancestors had done.” 💙💙💙
@@esqueda562 he wasn’t talking directly to nipsey. And i didn’t take it as condescending, but speaking facts ppl don’t wanna hear. He was talking to the ones still out fighting over blocks they don’t own, killing each other while making other ppl rich. Nip had been there and done that and realized that ain’t the way. He was still affiliated but not banging. He was trying to build up his hood and provide other opportunities for his people so they didn’t have to choose that way.
Here for .Big Sean - Big Sean - dun took off HAM ON THIS RIGHT HERE! 🥰 a u t h e n t i c v i e w s 🥳 dun took his career off 2 the next level fr. if you agree
I think no one will understand how much time Nipsey Hussle put into his music. It was really good that he got to show the world what he was made for legends never die. They live on forever and so will his legacy rest in peace king 💙🏁
Nipsey pre and post death is one of the most underrated lyrcists of all time. One of the only rappers that has never lied in any of his rhymes from the start of his career similar to jay z
Snoop driving a car is already something but Snoop bumping in a blue lowrider while Big Sean spitting his verse is something else Legendary track obvisously
I am surviving cancer. Healing from surgery last of 7 in the past 4 years. It has taken it toll and left it's scars. I am here. Healing. Your music helps. Thank you so very much.
That part “In high school I learned chemistry, biology But not how to cope with anxiety Or how I could feel like I'm by myself on an island With depression on all sides of me (damn) With a Glock 17 right on the side of me (hold up) Look, I ain't think I had the thought of suicide in me Until life showed me all these different sides of me Too many times I thought the reaper was outside for me” hit home harder than winter weather in Texas
@@MrTee12 lol y’all regurgitate the same nonsense, and then your god turns around and commits genocide because he wasn’t satisfied with his OWN creation, y’all sound like abuse survivors
“bangin' over blocks that they don't own, thinkin' that's home Boy, you think that's where you from? You don't really know where you from You don't know how deep your roots is or what your ancestors had done.” Spitting that verse on a track with nipsey and showing snoop at that exact moment speaks volumes
No thats just stupid and disrespectful towards them... Who tha fuck would speak against gangs in a song with a gang banger... And a proud one not one that stepped off the gang
@@yulifadida6661 this is the direction Nipsey was going in. Hence why he wanted to own assets in his neighborhood. He repeatedly said in various interviews that the OGs unintentionally mislead the following generations. You can catch him saying things like: “I understand gang culture is global now. I don’t really agree with it. I’m like man be careful. Don’t open that can of worms for real.” I truly believe nipsey would of co-signed theses bars
I love that line where he's like I learned chemistry, biology, but not how to deal with anxiety. I feel like that should be the most important, but also the hardest one to deal with.
Fr. Dope Dope line. Sean does the best by making people aware of spirituality and mental health. If you look at it from the highest perspective, even his depression serves the collective well.

NO LIE I WAS HOPING TO SEE NIPSEY ONE LAST TIME IN THIS VIDEO..... I WAS REALLY HOPING THEY HAD SOME SCENES TOGETHER RECORDED BEFORE HE PASSED #RIPNIP 😥🙏🏾
@@TyeHoudini I understand what you saying but not everybody truly thinks and feels that way because I been rocking to this song before it was even a video out and it’s common sense Nipsey wasn’t gonna be in the video because he passed away before they could even get to it. #THEMARATHONALWAYSCONTINUES 💯👌🏿🔥🎶🏁🙏🏿💙
@@kayondrasqueendom8469 nah I fuck with the album too I have it but when I saw this was uploaded I was like OMG 😱 Nip might be in here 😁 and then it was just his painting and I was sad again 😕 lol first of all this track was sneaky if u ask me I didn’t even know they had a track together
@@TyeHoudini that’s exactly why I said I understand why you wanted to visually see Nipsey not gon lie I did too but, I had to reality check this situation and was like hol up, Nipsey been gon for a good year or 2 and even while he was still alive they just didn’t make that time to shoot the video because of other priorities one another may have had going on. So I feel your feelings and emotions fr. Since we talking Nipsey I legit thought That’s Why By Eric Bellinger Ft. Nipsey was gon be Nipsey last song cause he got a nice lil verse on there if not Higher By Dj Khaled Nip and John Legend . If you haven’t listened to That’s Why By Eric Bellinger Go check it out but yeah it’s still bad overall how Nipsey died💯👌🏿😔😇🏁🕊🙏🏿💙❤️
Big Sean didn't just rap he told an entire story about the life lessons he learnt along his marathon . Most rappers nowadays can't do that. He's very inspirational and wise. 💯
This song is straight mainly cuz of Nip n my opinion. but if u compare him to other lyricists he doesnt really measure up very well but when u compare him to industry type mumble bullshyt then yes hes very lyrical
As someone from Detroit, Sean growth is incredible. He’s come a long way from those “I do it” days. Just like as you get older you become calmer and more confident, you hear that confidence in his bars. He not just riding Kanye and Good music anymore, he’s very much established as his own person.
In all do repect much repect to you big sean please don't compare your self with nipsey hussle the king don''t try sing act like him put pause on it them acting singing songs is his real twin brother his babies please leave it along my heart is full it will never be another nipsey hassle no other then his 3 babies and his real family my heart goes out to his whole family i'm sorry stay bless safe i love u nipseyhussle wife babes family i am so.so sorry if u never were in the back ground with him please don't try get out there and try to be him please! Al do repect god bless
When Sean said “I realized all my setbacks were inside of me. In High School I learned chemistry, biology but not how to cope with anxiety.” That hit me right there.. 🤦🏽♂️
" I realized all of my setbacks were inside of me, In high school i learned chemistry, biology, but not how to cope with anxiety Or how i could feel like im by myself on an island with depression on all sides of me " I never really sat down and listened to your work , no wonder you've made a name for yourself, you're goated
Sean Don is on such a high level, he's one of the few rappers that give that new school vibe but still stay spittin some real shit with meaning behind it while using creative lyricism, cadence's, flows etc. Dude definitely deserves his spot in the game for real. He also does really well and flexin on people but staying down to earth, definitely seems like a grounded human and I love that.
I've always liked Big Sean as an artist. But over the last few years I've grown a respect for him as a man. That vulnerability to be real, transparent, humble.... thats true character. His articulation helps humanize Black men beyond the stoic, hard, "tough" personas they always show in the media. I'm loving it.. I'd get into Nipsey, but I'm already over emotional just hearing this song for the first time. Nothing but 💙
Nipsey's lesson in this verse : You have to get to work and show those around you what's possible. and they'll see what's possible and get on their grind too. Be the change you want to see! "Ya'll still learning street lessons From the mastermind First, you master grind Then your team catch it. "
It could possibly be a statement fs💯 cornrows used to be a form of communication for the people during slave times, they would use cornrows to make maps to plan escapes and other stuff. Very smart💯💯
Having snoop in the video whipping in an old blue car and the fire verses I love the music video and I’ve been playing this song at every fire and had no idea the video was so good
Big Sean is that era of Cole, Wale, Gibbs, Wiz, K.R.I.T., Meek, etc's Most Improved Player .. his growth is crazy, you can hear the calm and peace he's at through his music
Mainstream rappers are trash 🗑️ they all depressed as fuck label issues drugs etc. the independent and underground rappers are better imo just hard to keep track the uk is popping off 💥
@@jamiejones453 honestly i hear ya, but there ain't no telling that the underground rappers ain't depressed either. It's always the same story though. Some underground rappers need recognition. They be killing it, but no attention.
