I'm such a big shot fan I was thinking about each note 10 seconds before it arrived, I also almost felt motion sick at the end when they forgot how the one part was supposed to be. This so good though.
damn for something from memory, this is really good, it wasn't until the middle part with the world revolving letmotief (or however tf its spelled) that i noticed something was off (by off i just mean it doesn't sound like the original, its still rly good!!)
as someone who has listened to Big shot so many times, I can see why this was made so close to the original that at some points it even sounds like the official one. it becomes a core memory after the 2nd listen
I don't know if it was intentional (and i may just be imagining it because I suck at telling pitch and stuff) but I actually really like the slight chord differences(?) during the world revolving leitmotif section. As someone who listens to the Deltarune soundtrack chronically, most of the other differences were just little details in tempo, note length, soundfonts and mixing, but I literally used to be able to tell without looking if Fallen Down was going to be the reprise version or not while my playlist was on shuffle, so I may not be the best judge on how much the average person would be able to tell the difference.
Tempo is the same as original big shot (140) and the chords in the freedom leitmotif are almost identical to the original, theres not a noticeable difference, at least for me. But i appreciate your comment, thank you!

Okay this is probs the 50th time I’ve brought up my dad in a spamton related video, but spamton in this video just looks like my dad after coming home from being the biggest BIG SHOT ever Edit: not an update, but just here to thank y’all for the 100 likes :D I know it’s like 114 now, but I think I might have enough money to make the glasses, but this project is gonna be kinda expensive for me lol :’) so I’ll update you guys when I can! Thank you (I forgot their name I’m gonna edit this so I can add their name) for making me want to update you guys on making the glasses and gifting them to my dad! Update: might be going to Walmart soon, my dads bday is in like a week so I need to do this a short timeframe while also being very careful not to get dye on my hands since I have multiple things going on this week. Update: so like good news and bad news, the bad news is that the glasses I got from dollar tree have black lenses, which cannot be dyed. The good news is that I found an old pair of swimming goggles and I’m gonna take the lenses off those goggles and make them fit into the glasses sow that way they can be dyed finally! I hope we can do this, and I will make a community post once it’s finished, his birthday is like next week so I need this done! Update: OMGOMGOMG GUYS GUYS GUYS!! WE GOT THE PINK LENSES DYED!!! I NEVER KNEW RIT DYE COULD ACTUALLY DYE PLASTIC BUT HOLY HECKINSHMUNCKLES (heck-en-shmunk-ulls) IT ACTUALLY WORKED. I’m gonna do the yellow lenses tomorrow since they might take a bit longer, BUT IT’S GONNA BE WORTH IT!!! My mom knows about this fully, but my dad knows half about this. Yeah, that's pretty close! Of course it's not going to be exact but main parts and sub parts are there. Some notes were slight flat in one spot but aside from that it's nearly perfect!

As someone who's listened to big shot on loop for hours, I can FEEL parts missing. It's a great recreation, but it's def missing parts of background sounds (and some parts are off, but it's by memory what can I say?)

I remember hearing that dementia patients remember music especially well and with this, I think we've really glossed over how well music can be remembered by the brain compared to other things.
holy shit this is surprisingly close. I can tell something is wrong with the first brass hits (probably a few notes that are one or two semitones lower than normal?) and the last steel drum hit part (i don't know what feels off on this one) but its crazy how close it is
