Great video. I particularly like how you didn't ham up the "inspiration" factor. It was down to Earth and honest rather than over produced and scripted.
Montana is beautiful and then it gets cold! Really cold and it stays that way for months, not so fun in the winter here. But a great place to ride a Harley Davidson for 3 to 4 months in the summer 🤠
I was born and raised in Montana. We road motorcycles to a rural grade school with county sheriffs permission as long as we didn’t cause complaints and veered off into the ditch when vehicles approached. Later , in college at Montana State I recall ( not sure exactly where my brain was ) brushing off inches of snow and riding about 100 miles home to Helena for Thanksgiving. Today , as I write this , we approach Thanksgiving in Covid conditions. I’m outdoors relaxing by the pool in 75 degree at my central Florida home contemplating a nice ride on my Wide Glide. Those were sacred times but never again will I purposely ride in the cold. Summer in Montana is absolutely unbeatable, winter for the very few who enjoy the cold. Great video Harley !
The road on a bike is good stuff, on Harleys with friends... that's the best memories I have. HOG rallies, headed to South Dakota, the Ozark mountains, headed to Texas... all with good friends. Thanks for the memories, HD! 👊
I consider myself fortunate because I live in Big Sky Country. I arrived here in December 1973 and fell in love with all the awesome scenery. Coming from California it was a major change. Many thanks to the Air Force for sending me here. I'm a new rider. 1 year in the saddle the end of October. Close to 8,000 miles despite the winter. Working on a channel to show off Montana and all the other beautiful rides that are available to us in this Great Nation of ours. Safe rides to all!
Please make more videos like this Can't have the fun of traveling but it could inspire many to just switch to a different feeling sometimes. 👍😀 You don't need to get High to enjoy nature you only need to hit the road.
MDB does a great job of sharing his adventures. I hope I improve my skills enough to hit the road. There are lots of fantastic roads out there. Want to see as many miles as I can.
The state of Montana this is very beautiful place in the northwestern part of the United States, although i myself have never been to this state, but i would very much like to visit this beautiful place. Ben, Rainer, Mike and RU-vid channel Harley-Davidson thank you for this wonderful video, i was very interested to watch and hear this story here.
I remember by to see this video , 1996 when i was with my wife 3 months in the usa and we drive there about 4000 miles in four states at the west coast, i remember not al it is about 25 years ago i am now 57 and have childeren , but when i have the change i want do it again in other parts or states in the usa again with my wife and partner and motrher from our childeren and maybe with them together , and again on a Harley , we travelled a lot in Europe with motor and in the rest of the world with car or train etc. but the best part of the world to drive and ride on an motor cycle a harley davidson is where it comes from America. greatings from the southern part of the Netherlands , Luke & family

its strange, one side we say bikes are made to be disconnected from world and on the other side we have fancy stuff which help you get notification from mobile phones and connected features......... is motorcycling still that simple????
Having done my share of cross country rides crossing Montana I found it surprising that H-D could make Montana look so boring. Montana is so beautiful and unique and this video could've been shot almost anywhere. Really disappointing footage. But I'm sure it was sufficient for the weekend rider who flies to a destination and rents a bike to play biker for a weekend as opposed to actually riding there.
I’ll be trading my Road Glide on a Indian Challenger, because of how you treat paying customers. It might not be any better then the treatment at Harley, but it can’t be any worse.
