Haha yeah that was a pretty funny shot! You can hear Brett trying to hold the laughter in which makes it that much better. Such a great spot. Just played it yesterday and filmed a shot for shot from the tips so stay tuned for that!

Yes, we have several more videos on the way from courses throughout BC and Alberta! Whistler really is a beautiful area all year round - especially in the Fall.

@@BeattheCourseGolfChannel Cool, you also have to hit Sheep Pastures Lillooet golf course and the Grand Daddy of them all.......Eighteen Pastures in Ruskin B.C. just out by the dam in Mission. Any golf pro that has played there usually leaves in a straight jacket. It has the highest slope rating in Canada and they used to hold a tournament called " So you think you can golf"? every year. The old pro at Pemberton Valley Mike White bristled when I told him I had recently been there. He looked into the distance and said " Iron Mountain, the hardest golf course in the world". Iron Mountain is the nickname for the course...leave your driver at home in other words. He then entertained us with stories of PGA tour players getting taken there and one or two leaving in tears and snapping clubs...no joke. I am 44 years old and have been playing golf a lot since I was about 12 even though I started at 4 years old. I have been making the Pilgrimage to this Mecca whenever possible since I was about 14 years old and it has never disappointed. I have played Princeville in Kauai and If you think Tobiano is hard then I have news for you. I have played all over B.C. and California and this is still my favorite course. One makes a pilgrimage to this course as it is a religious experience and not just another day golfing. It is not flashy and is kind of run down with a barn for a clubhouse but that is the charm; plus, you can't beat the good prices. I have played this course when it was well kept and was immaculate and have played it run down. It doesn't matter as it is only harder when in good condition. I saw the greens rolling at about 9 or 10 back in the nineties as now they are pretty standard speed but the course still wins easily. Make sure you get a good cart for sure. In fact, a wise man will walk the first 7 holes and then grab a cart while going to eight right by the clubhouse. Try to get a cart with a low number(under number thirty) as these are apparently the best ones and you don't want a dud that you will just have to abandon. Stick with the course all the way to eighteen and that is an accomplishment in itself. Only those who brave the Eighteen Pastures and ascend the Iron mountain by going through golf purgatory can receive the Scottish secrets at the Eighteenth. Just remember that the first seven holes are not that hard but they will lull you in much like the sirens did Ulysses in the Odessy. Starting at eight many a golfer have crashed their boats onto the rocks and met their fate. If you break eighty here then I truly take my hat off to you. It is short but very tough. The famous Scottish golf pro, Macdonald Smith (the man that Harvey Penick said had the prettiest swing he ever saw) sits at the summit with his brothers. Mac and his brothers Willie and Alex who both won U.S. Opens came over from Carnoustie and this might be the closest thing in terms of difficulty. I had heard that the course record was a 67; Wow, what a round. Please play this track and pay homage to the golf gods.
