Every year, we make a trip out to Big Sky, Montana for our annual ski trip with our friends, it is something we do not miss! If you love to ski or snowboard, Big Sky Montana is an amazing spot that you gotta check out...once you do, you will be hooked! Big Sky is not as crowded as some other more popular spots, but it definitely is attracting more and more people each year. Big Sky also has so much fun to offer off the slopes. In this vlog, I will show you some of the things we like to do while in Big Sky, where we like to eat and other fun activities you can do when you're not skiing. Have you skied Big Sky? Can you believe I've never been skiing? It looks like so much fun, but it's just never been on my to do list. Only because I hear so many horror stories of people blowing out their knees. Debbie Downer here! Hahah! I'd rather be someone's snow bunny with a hot cup of cocoa! Hahah!

I've never been skiing or snowboarding because I absolutely hate cold weather but this view was so beautiful I may just have to sacrifice! I love watching travel vlogs, they're super satisfying 😍

I've skied in Big Sky before. The last place I skied was in Crested Butte, Colorado March 2021. Of all the places I've skied, Big Sky is #1 on my list. As a resident of the southern part of Texas, I'm the first one in my family to learn how to ski.

Thank you for the fabulous video. You have really captured the spirit of Big Sky we know and love. It is a long way for us to come from Australia but it is worth it. I can also recommend the Montana dinner yurt for a fun night out.

@@MissMooreStyle It is a long way to come but worth it. We normally ski for 3 weeks so have gotten to know the place really well. It almost feels like a second home. Unfortunately with COVID we have cancelled next season. There are so many good places to eat but one of our favourites for BBQ ,which is also cheap, is the River House. It has a great atmosphere and some really friendly locals to have a beer with. It also does good southern fried chicken.

Yes we love river house! We did not go tho this last year which is why it didn’t appear in this video. I hope we can still ski this year we bought our ikon passes so I’m praying 🙏🏻

@@MissMooreStyle We are going to steamboat because my mom doesn't like the slopes cuz she says there too steep. Honestly that makes no sense at all because there are greens and if the greens are too steep you have a problem or you need to just get better at skiing tbh lol.

This is gorgeous! It's like Heavenly in Lake Tahoe! Though I have never tried skiing nor snow boarding, I find this very interesting. You're good at it! I am so jealous, I wanna give it a try and again that place looks bomb! P.S. The food looks delish (esp the steak!)

yes I had so much fun wearing that I got a lot of compliments from people...its not the warmest but if I put layers under it I was just fine. skiing is much easier to catch on to I think than snowboarding I dont go there bc I feel like i'd hurt myself lol

Amanda von Pllck no of course not a lot of people havent. I’ve been doing it since I was 12 but it came easy to me bc I was a competitive figure skater so it’s kinda the same muscles and skills

Heeey, just found your video! We are looking to go to big ski and we are beginners for skiing so would like to ask your opinion. I’ve done it once before and said would never again but i want to give it a try!

Hey Manuela!!! I’m not sure what your experience was the first time...do you mean you’ve done big sky but decided to never go again or you went skiing once before and said never again? In any case, big sky is such a big resort and there’s lots for beginners there!

@@MissMooreStyle sorry I wasn't specific. Last year we went to Alaska and tried Skiing for the first time. It didn't go great for me, my boyfriend said I won't need lessons so we just went for it and it was a disaster lmao. So I said I wouldn't go skiing anymore. But I want to give it a second try. This time probably do lessons and we are going Big Sky, this time. I checking now the sleigh ride dinner but just wanted to ask Any tips or recommend anything there.

@@manuelahill-valbuena9251 ah yes ok! Lessons are always a good idea! My dad thought that same thing too when I first went and it was also a disaster 🙈 lessons helped so much! The sleigh ride dinner is so fun, I know bc Yellowstone is also close by they have this cool thing you can do, but we have never done, to take a snow cat (big snow mobile) into Yellowstone for a tour. You can also just go check out Yellowstone on your own too which is fun. I know things are much different now bc of covid tho. Make sure you secure your tickets for the mountain in advance bc they are limiting how many people can be skiing in one day. Definitely check out the ousel falls hike!

For us, it was because we were staying with a friend who lives at Spanish peaks and is a member of their club where it is essentially ski in, ski out.
