Well I am read and hear everything from 7.2% increase on down, just looking the math over I could project 8% +, but like he says we don't know what the last quarter (July, August, September) will show, nor how they may cook the books to change the math.

I moved into my own place I only get $529 a month right now and they told me I would get an increase so I was just wondering how long does it actually take to get an increase?? I sent in the paperwork that was needed so I was just wondering?

Why change the COLA? People who are 62 or older pay the exact same amount as everyone else does for anything they buy.🙄😠🙄 Anything they can do to try to make the raises be less??

I could NOT listen. The S.S. raise only hurt me. It took away my snap, my rent is increased and I don't know what other hurt it will bestow upon me. Horrible.

If we get a raise, health insurance makes sure they get a piece of the pie. Every raise Trump gave us, our health insurance took it. 😩🤪😂

Thanks to grandpa Joe everything reeks inflation, good thing is people are getting to know cash/fiat is pretty much stone age at this point, it is designated to fail eventually, 3 BEST and surprisingly easy ways to double or hold your funds in 2021; Real Estate, Gold, Who can guess the 3rd??

Obviously Stocks, I’m a child psychologist who hasn’t worked since December of last year, which made me start looking for passive income, I finally reached out to an advisor for help, following her recommendations, I dumped 10k all in NIO and NVDA shares and call options, Up 200k so far!!! this has literally been a life saver.

Any SS increase will be off set by increases in Medicare. So overall it’s a net loss after you factor in Medicare premiums.

I guess they think last years 20 bucks fixed every thing. Geez, toilet paper is close to 20$ !!! See how much they care about the people, the tax payers who pay them. Biden is not going to raise the taxes on what we owe every year, he is going to raise the tax on EVERYTHING we buy ! I am not a rude person buy this government makes me sick..🤮

I am a US Army veteran and I'm looking for an increase I'm barely making it on the money I earned I have to pay taxes every year because I get 46,000 a year have to pay federal and state taxes and that's a lot on top of I pay for rent for living in New York City I have credit card bills Con Edison for food to have basic cable it's not easy for that little bit of money to live in the city and on top of that I have to pay back taxes every year it's not fair I said two tours in the army it's not right to me I hope it is a decent a decent increase so I can maintain all these bills that's social Security and my pension is $46,000 a year that included again I have to pay back taxes state and Federal.
