There’s nothing like locating the off trail stuff. They’re rarely seen but they are frequently incredible sights to behold! That’s what Winter is for! If you ever come to Big South Fork give me a shout. I’ll be happy to show you some of these things. Take care, stay safe and healthy.
I’m looking forward to cooler weather and the “off trail season” as we call it. There’s still a lot of stuff to locate. BSF never ends. You may have to work for some of the sights but that just makes it more worthwhile. Thanks Jim. Take care.
Just past claw arch left side of road, looks like a turn off, the cliff row is absolutely massive, even has a small water cave. Very beautiful area, next time your in that area you might want to stop and check it out.
That’s a good question… I know it’s in the hundreds. There are more to be found too. Thanks JamesRobertSmith. I appreciate it. Take care and stay safe.
Hi Papaw, I love to follow you on RU-vid. I also love to look up the places on the map in Gaia and in Avenza by TNlandforms GPS coordinates and these three I can’t see them in TNlandforms, GPS coordinates would be wonderful to have your up to Sharing
Thank you so much Rebecca! That’s what I like to hear… lol .. These arches are in the Kentucky section of Big South Fork. I normally Google “BSF Landforms.” I don’t think DW Arch or New Salem Natural Bridge are on it. I’ll check on my gps app and get the coordinates for you. Give me a day or two and I’ll put them on here for you. I appreciate it! Take care and stay safe.
