I worked at Nepenthe in 1969 and it was awesome. I highly recommend Big Sur State Park for amazing walking and hiking. They also have a lodge, restaurant and gift shop.
loved staying at Ragged Point! Amazing time! Beautiful vistas, incredible lawn, lovely room with a fireplace and the crashing ocean below. Stay here! you won't be disappointed.
What a great video to share! I am celebrating my engagement weekend and I now have some beautiful lookouts to enjoy during my stay in Big Sur with my fiance! Thanks !!
That was a great tour, thank you so much! I'd like you to have lingered just a little longer at each place so the viewer got more of a sense of what it was like. This felt a little whistle-stop. But I'm sure you had a reason for keeping the video to about 10 minutes! Thanks again
We were at Ragged Point a few years ago. Video's and narratives fail to capture the wonderful aroma of the place. The scent of the humid salt air and especially the aroma of pine needles and pine trees is equal to the visual beauty of Ragged Point as well as many other places.
Great video! I'm planning a road trip through Big Sur and you gave so many ideas! Really interested in finding out more about the diving at Point Lobos. Will follow up if I go.
The Ambrosia Burger at Nepenthe…. Nothing like it in the world…. My family owned 20 acres on Pfeifer Ridge. Just south of Pfeiffer campgrounds…. Cool vid🤙🏻
I was just in Myrtle Beach. Being from the East Coast I must say other than Florida the beaches are nothing like California Coast beaches in Oregon also
Totally true! I was just in Myrtle Beach as well. I do like the abundance of shells on that coast. I'll have a Myrtle Beach video out in a few weeks. Thanks for watching!
Do u have such infirmation (stops with resturant shops restrooms etc) for Canada Usa all other parts ?loved it since, I dont neee to reserch much before leaving and saves time.
From Oceano to Hearst Castle these 2 bad Calif Rangers work..... Morro Bay Camp ground , I entered the park at 5:15 am which is open 24/7 and I also had this free day use pass from the library with me . A Calif Park Ranger / Cop was cruising the campground 2 hours before his shift he stopped behind me as I was letting him pass me. He ran my drivers license and not happy because I am clean he wrote me a BS ticket for not paying the camping fee. He just watched me drive into the park ! I am 70 years old and a veteran and I had this pass and was thinking of taking a camping spot and paying for that. He also banned me from the campground for 24 hours then when I was leaving the park and stopped at the pay booth to re read the rules he pulled up and told me to get out !.... Ranger " B. E " needs some other job... Ranger " K " also..
Great video! I know some of the places you mentioned do not allow dogs, would you recommend some trials and restaurants that are dog friendly in big sur pls? Thank you!
Hi! Did you bring your pup with you on this trip? I want to do this trip with my pup… you were able to bring pup on most places? Thank you, enjoyed your video very much!
Awesome and informative video. Where would you suggest to stay that’s economically affordable in BigSur? I would love to visit this place during my travels to California very soon. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
So many other hidden gems you didn’t list, there are caves, hot springs, black sand beach, but I won’t tell since I discovered these by exploring and don’t want random tourist ruining it.
