Visiting Fish Ponds keeps me surprising every time and time again. I visit Lars who showed me his Reef Tanks a few months ago, today we visit his big fish pond and garden.

Prefer the pond as I’m a koi fan however cannot deny the beauty of his reef tanks. You can see how much work and care must go into maintaining them. The marine fish look so healthy and happy. I notice he has some ki Utursi which are one of my favourite koi as well as hi Utsuri. Although the pond is really formal in design the rest of the garden is stunning as well.

I used to have a house full of tanks with exotic freshwater fish. Eels, south American and African cichlids, peacock bass, stingrays and a South American Arowana. It got too expensive to feed and upkeep as well as all the time caring for the tanks. Seemed like I was always working on fish. I opted to get rid of the tanks and now only have the koi. I do miss the tanks but I can't chase to dreams.

You have shown some amazing koi ponds in your videos but I think this has to be one of the best. The koi are magnificent both in quality and size and I love the fact Lars seems to prefer the doitsu varieties...my favourites as well. Love the reef tanks too but for me they will never replace koi.

I often wonder what I would’ve done in my life if I had money that was handed down from my family with no worries about cost of living. I don’t know if I’d turn out the same person or what I’ve wasted my life spending money and not accomplishing anything. I really think I’d rather work for something that I could appreciate.

@@fgb3126 it's usual here in the Netherlands. If you buy ground for a good price and build your house. I think the man doesn't have any money problems 😉😂😂
