Me . Greg, and Kevin used to ride our motorcycles out there. Where u take the first left curve there is a road to the right that leads out to a cliché pit of sorts. We would jump the banks like Evel Knievel. That also was my secret parking spot in high school, in the 70's.
HI, my family owns a parcel in that same area and we have never been there so your videos are exciting to see some of the land and views first hand. Do you live in the area as well
@@citytooffgrid I have my tour on July 2nd 😍 so excited to see my property! I went up there and just drove around but had no clue where my lot was 😂 we plan on camping there for the weekend then coming back to Houston.
Wahoo!! How exciting :) take a sweater 😂 Were in Houston too and it is chilly at night but hot hot during the day. Take something for shade or you might turn into a lobster lol
Looking forward to following your off-grid adventure. My wife and I also live in the Houston area (Katy) and purchased land in Big Bend three years ago. We are not planning to move there but just have it as a getaway place. I have chronicled our journey at my ExploreTexas.blog. Lots of pics of doing our fence, building out our cabin, adding solar and water catchment, etc. We are having a great time. Enjoy your new adventure. Look forward to your updates.
