200% My hyundai car boight for 8.3 lac, paid 4 lac in petrol till now 70-80 k in maintenace and replacement cost. Toll another 40k. Insurance 1.2.lac...no.accidents claim or damage till now...eod car may sell for 3 lac....too much value lost... Wealth destroyer hai bhai

I have an Activa and seeing the current situation I have decided not to buy a car at all. Companies May be giving discounts on its cars but govt is not at all giving discount on its taxes. In short govt doesn't gives a shit

40 lakh ki fortuner me 23 goes to govt in Tax, 17 lakh goes to Toyota.... already 30% income tax paid on that 40 lakh, then tax on petrol /diesel,tax on insurance, tax on service, toll tax or pata nahi kon konse tax

Forget about express ways, even on normal 4 lane highway with pot holes we are paying almost 2 Rs per km toll tax. People are not realizing it because it gets deducted from account (Fastag). It's unfair

Thanks for the video..I have been using my elite i20 for almost 9 years now with 1 lakh 7 thousand kms in odo and it is in a very good condition to run for another 5 years..I was thinking of buying a 7 seater car. But seeing your video and the amount of tax we pay and real need , I think it is better to stick to my i20 and use it till it doesn’t give major repair costs. I have fitted lpg in it. So i save on petrol tax as well.

World over various TAXES are Applicable on all products. Maybe they are in different %. But You also have to consider out of 145 Crores population only 10 Crores are paying Income Tax. Before 2014 there were less than 4% paying Income tax only. How do you develop your country's infrastructure & how do you compensate for Subsidies Inspite of fuel pricing around ₹90-100 the vehicle Sales nor Petrol & Diesal consumption have reduced? That's my stupid Qs to our citizens of India. If you are so much concern start walking do not fill your Vehicles or Stop buying Vehicles. बोलना आसान है, Vehicles Boycott करना मुश्किल है. Above implement करना बहोत मुश्किल है.

Personal vehicle buyers pay TEEN GUNA LAGAAN (triple tax), first the amount paid is already taxed with Income Tax, second will be on base price the GST + C.Cess and then finally road tax.

How much Tax on a Private Car ? Excise, Cess, Road Tax, over & above Toll fees, and now congestion fees ? Who is responsible for Congestion ? Is it the end user or Approver for Manufacturing ? Unless the Approver does not approve, Manufacturer cannot produce limitless vehicles and when vehicles are available, end users will be there. Ultimately the Game is for Money

Better to go for used vehicle. There is a pretty good market for these guys. You can scout for ones that are sparingly used in good condition. Now a days dealers offer substantial warranty on the vehicle as well

People, don't fall in trap. Stop buying cars. For daily commute, use bike or scooter. Try to use public transport. In urgency , use cab or private car.

We all know about taxes on buying and maintaining a car and on running a car. The government is squeezing the lemon dry. Actually, in a word, it is unfair. Advice to those buying cars: 1. Buy the cheapest. You don't have to keep up with the Joneses particularly if they are morons. 2. Put buying off for 5 years and invest in a car buying recurring deposit. You will save on interest at the cost of the tax on RD maturity but I am sure you will be much better off saving and paying for your car and not filling the bank coffers. 3. Tell your local brown sahib that he will lose your vote if the gst council does not bring down the rates of gst to a uniform 8 percent and includes petrol and diesel in gst. If Singapore and Malaysia can, so can India or are we incompetent dopes?

Car service cost kaise kaam kani hai, he helped a lot. Today done my 3rd major service of Altroz, and service center was like "coolent chnage hoga" and service book me 5th major service tha. Service center bhut chunna legate hai.

I purchased Honda Jazz 2012 and drove about 73000 kms. It is still in good condition and I will use it for another 7 years because I cannot afford to buy a decent car anymore.
