Hang on to your hats and glasses, 'cause this here is the wildest ride in the wilderness! The disused Big Thunder Railroad has been fired up and kicked back into action, ready to welcome guests for a non-stop, high-speed tour of the magnificent mountain landscape.
After swooping underneath the Rivers of the Far West, you emerge on the island to discover the tunnel is being flooded with water, whilst the second is about to collapse and another is filled with bats! Will you make it up, over and around this legendary mountain in time?

Have just returned from DLRP, went on this with my wife and 5 year old son, he was not impressed and is adamant that he will never go on a roller coaster again, I loved it despite the fact that I am not a fan of theme park rides.

When i went on this ride, it was the first proper rollercoaster id ever been on so i didn't know what to expect. But i thought it was epic!

This one is more faster than those in america. And the dark moment in the end scared me lol . 30 seconds in the dark . So cool .

I've seen the ride with the light on once, when the train was stuck in the mine ! It looks like a real carpark !

I love this ride! It's one of my favourites! Was at Disneyland Paris the week before christmas and was lucky enough to go on once as the snow was so bad they had to close the outdoor rides.

I was there yesterday and it's one of the best rides ever! I always loved it and now I see that this one in Paris is the best version of it!!! I miss it already!

I remember going on this when I was 7 and being super freaked out x it was the first rollercoaster I ever went on and it scared me like hell! I'm 13 now and I look back on it and think what the hell that's not scary at all!! :D

omg i loved this ride i went on it about 4/5 times and i was only there for about 3/4 days !!! Amazing would recommend to anyone who is going to Disney and is thinking about going on this... BTW my 3 year old cousin loved it !!!!!!!( And he's 3 !!!!!!!!!!!! )

I chipped my front tooth on this ride when I was 8, at the bend around 3:34. I was looking to over my right shoulder to see the lake and hit my mouth on the side when it suddenly turned left. My parents never took me again... When people ask about my chipped tooth, it's always fun to tell them I broke it on a rollercoaster.

i heard that you start off by going under the river..... here in cali its just a lil tunnel thing.. and its a pretty smooth ride, not heavy at all. its very fun

@Disneylander007 the cool thing about the one in Paris is that for some minutes the train goes though a tunel under the water and the i comes out in the mountain in the middle of the lake.

I loved this ride. It was the ebst one there. Although it may look boring and tame it wasn't. the line was long but it was a long ride and was SO worth it. But this video dosen't do it justis. those parts when you were in the tunnle were pitch black, but in the video you can still see. I sure hope that the camera wanst shining a light, because that would of ruined it for everyone else. The tunnels are the best part, and are why this version of the ride is better than the american one.

I wish they had all the effects on when I went at the beggining of march. First time I had gone to disneyland paris in over 7 years and half of the park was closed and all the effects were off for most rides except from phantom manor and space mountain :(

this had an accident last week in lift hill c where a piece of rock/scenery feel on 5 people :S seriously injuring one person who is in hospital. this ride is therefore closed for the time being :/

if u think that you don't want to go on this ride because its scary then don't you only think it's scary because the scream. I went on when I was five them five years later when I was 10 it's not scary at all and btw the animal howling is a wolf on the top a the mineshaft.
