just watched it. really interesting movie. pete's character broke my heart. as i have known people like that in my own life. lost in their own problems and seemingly unable to reciprocate deep feelings or emotions. i really loved it. pls watch it when you get the chance!
I thought he was gonna realize he was messing up his own life in the end, but he kept going on as if nothing happened. It was like he just got stuck lying to himself and pretending he was living his best life :(
Honestly it's a good movie. Pete's character is simultaneously static and evolving at once. You're seeing the collapse of his perpetual childhood, and seeing his fall through the eyes of someone who admired him for so long
Yeah It was a good movie but I hate people like Stacey there's always that one person ruins everything while he could have saved by just taking the fall
I thought itd be a movie to pass time, but then I watched it, and it was actually very endearing and sweet. Kinda dark too. As a 15 year old, I could really relate to the kid’s struggles.
This is one of my new favorite movies, at first it seems normal but then you go into a relatable high school life story, with heartwarming moments that make you think ...
I’m disappointed that I’ve seen no advertising for this movie. It was actually really good & one of the best “coming of age” type of movies on Netflix or Hulu rn
I absolutely loved how Pete throughout his horror movie idea at the end when they're sitting talking at the burger joint and then in the last frame as Mo is pulling away it gets all intense and the music switches up to some music that you'd here in a horror movie... Nice little walk in to the next movie that he's about to drop on us. Quite genius in my opinion and I will definitely be waiting impatiently for it. Great movie for people like us who grew up similar to how this movie all played out. Shout out to all the rebels, outcasts and g's that make the world go round. Luv. 🖤👊
If anyone is wondering the song in the trailer is (All my life) by Bebe rexa, and cruel youth. Ps. The song is unreleased yet so you wont find it anywhere i have tried for hours looking.
Shalimar Fultz basically a tik toker & 2 other girls were signed up to be extras, and the casting director, amey, took them aside and told them to walk past the main characters. they didnt know why, but later on they found out after they walked past the main characters said “why isnt there any hot girls at this school”. referring to the extras
When Mo drives away at the end of the film it suddenly hit me what this film means to me. (1) just because other people can't change doesn't mean you can't and (2) just because there are some things you've done that you can't rectify doesn't mean you can't move on with your life. I desperately wanted Zeke to change and i desperately wanted Mo to go back and make up with Sophie. But it didn't happen. This film didn't give me the ending that i wanted but the ending i needed. great film.
bc she was literally an extra and that shouldn’t rly impact the film itself much at all. but everyone’s coming for it after seeing the tiktok when the only people at fault are those who signed up for the role and didn’t communicate w the casting director and the casting director themself for not communicating to them.
@@arieljantra yes exactly although the director shouldve told them, they literally signed up to be extras so like u signed up for this on ur own so its ur fault
trailer makes it look pretty cheesy but i enjoyed it, it felt like real life bc it follows more of a character arc centered plot, taht can kinda hurt a movie but i liked how it didnt tie everything into a perfect bow by the end, some characters stayed the same and other characters change, which is how relationships go
John Crier reminds me of a bald John Ritter... man I miss Ritter he played one of the best dads on TV and some of the best evil dad/stepdad on Lifetime movies
To be honest ive never been a fan of Pete Davidson apart from his mad roasting skills in the comedy central roasts and the odd SNL skit but i gotta say he is improving in the acting department. im thinking that in the next 5 to 10 years he will only get better and better and offer us some good performances, good for him. Peyton Manning roasting Pete Davidson: "I just met this guy Pete Davidson backstage before the show. Great guy. He asked to take a picture with me, and I didn't even realize he was one of the comedians. I told him: 'Don't give up, kid. Whatever disease you have, you can beat it.'" roast of Robe Lowe was freaking hilarious.
Good movie, PLEASE HELP - what song is playing when they are dancing in the living room (after they buy the album at record store) * record says Too Tough (?) driving me mad, hoping someone knows! Cheers
