Buddy Holly was surely more of a home grown product originating from Texas with Country ,TexMex and Hillbilly music natural ingredients in day to day life.
Plus as a musician (I mean playing instruments & writing one's own music) Holly was a professional. Adam Faith was a pop idol who had minor success later in life.
I thought the roulettes were his on the road band. Surely all his hit records were backed by the John Barry seven and written in the main by Les Vandyke.
The Roulettes were hired by Adam to back him when changed musical direction during the Best boom era,they were a good band very talented with some good musicians notably Russ Ballard and Bob Henrit
I worked for Adam (or Tel, as he insisted on being called) and he was one of the nicest people you could wish to meet and the condescending attitude of these two really pisses me off!

What a ridiculous presentation! One person telling the story would have been quite enough. Who knows if they are telling an accurate story. I doubt it somehow
